    Abstract: An article with a can and a dispenser, the can having a valve with a valve cup, valve stem housing and depressible valve stem and the dispenser having a base, a straw attached to the base, a sleeve extending over at least a portion of the straw, a trigger hingedly attached to the base and/or straw at a hinge point with a trigger section that engages the sleeve above the hinge point and a trigger arm that extends below the hinge point, and a plunger extending through a side of the base and into a flow channel of the dispenser while maintaining fluid communication through and/or around the plunger within the flow channel of the dispenser where the dispenser is attachable to the can by inserting the stationary valve stem housing into the flow channel of the dispenser base while inserting the dispenser base into the valve cup.

    Abstract: A process for making a multilayered article, the process comprising the steps of: (A) Providing a mold comprising: (1) A mold housing comprising (a) at least one injection port, and (b) defining a mold cavity within which are positioned two deformable, pre-molded polymeric sheets; and (2) A removable, hollow core equipped with at least one vent, the removable, hollow core positioned between and space apart from the two polymeric sheets; (B) injecting under high pressure a viscous, crosslinkable, thermoplastic polymer into the mold cavity between the two polymeric sheets and around the removable core, (C) Drawing a vacuum on the mold cavity through both the vent in the mold housing and the vent in the removable, hollow core before, during and/or after the polymer has been injected into the mold; (D) Forming a less than fully cured multilayered article in the mold cavity; and (E) Removing the less than fully cured multilayer article from the mold cavity.

    Abstract: A dispensing device for attaching to a container having a valve stem includes: (a) a hollow tube having a flow channel defined by a wall extending between entrance and exit ends with a connector on the entrance end for connecting to the valve stem; (b) a sleeve extending slidably over a portion of the hollow tube, the sleeve extending over, and having an opening proximate to, the hollow tube's exit end; (c) a sealing gasket around the outside of the hollow tube and between the hollow tube and the sleeve that prevents fluid communication past the gasket between the hollow tube and sleeve; (d) a trigger mount rigidly attached to the hollow tube or container; (e) a trigger hingedly connected at a first location to the trigger mount and operatively engaged with the sleeve at a second location; and (f) an elastic element between the trigger and the hollow tube and/or container.

    Abstract: A dispensing device that attaches to a container has: (a) a hollow tube with opposing entrance and exit ends with a connector on the entrance end and a wall defining a flow channel; (b) a sleeve with opposing entrance and exit ends slidably extending over the hollow tube; (c) a sealing gasket between and contacting the hollow tube and sleeve; (d) a trigger mount rigidly attached to the hollow tube or container; (e) a trigger hingedly connected to the trigger mount and operatively connected to the sleeve; (f) an elastic element between the trigger and the hollow tube and/or container; wherein the exit end is closed and there is an opening through the hollow tube wall proximate to the exit end; the sleeve has an open dispensing end, reduces in inside diameter at dispensing end and engages the hollow tube when closed and disengages from the hollow tube when open.

    Abstract: An article has a can with a valve stem and a dispensing device, the dispensing device includes a cap over the valve stem, a hollow tube extending through a slot in the cap and attached to the valve stem, a sleeve slidably extending over the hollow tube, a lever hingedly attached to the cap and operatively engaging the sleeve, an elastic feature that provides a force or causes a force to be applied to the sleeve in a direction that tries to move the sleeve to a closed position, and a sealing gasket between the sleeve and hollow tube proximate to the exit end of the hollow tube; where the sleeve seals the hollow tube when in the closed position and displacing the lever towards the can simultaneously unseals the hollow tube and tilts the valve stem, and when released allows the sleeve to restore to a closed position.

    Abstract: An article contains an elbow (10) having at least two sections (20, 30) that are hingedly attached to one another by means of a hinging joint (40) so that the first section (20) can move in a plane with respect to the second section (30), wherein the sections (20, 30) define a passageway (50) through which a dispensing straw may extend.
