摘要: The present invention involves systems and methods of bimodal near-field wireless power transfer for simultaneous capacitive and inductive power transfer by adjustable transfer mode ratio of capacitive to inductive power transfer at a variable power signal oscillation frequency, wherein transmitter pairs are electrically decoupled from one another. The method involves providing a transmission surface of transmitter resonators; monitoring input impedance of each transmitter resonator; calibrating baseline input impedance for the transmitter resonators; and either assigning an off state when input impedance is less than baseline impedance; or assigning an active state to the transmitter resonator when input impedance is greater. A further aspect involves near-field resonant wireless electrical power transfer system having software that measures input impedance of corresponding transmitter resonators and a test signal power draws; and selects a frequency from a lookup table based on the input impedance of the corresponding transmitter resonator and the test signal power draw.

摘要: The present invention involves a system and method for transferring power from power source to receiver. Radio frequency power amplifier in wired electrical communication with direct current source and configured to convert it into alternating voltage signal having oscillation frequency, with adjustable phase radio frequency rectifier in wired electrical contact with power load and in radio frequency communication with power amplifier; configured to receive power transferred from amplifier; and receiver controller in communication with rectifier, configured for adjusting efficiency of power transfer from amplifier to rectifier by adjusting current-voltage phase characteristic of rectifier. The method involves converting power from direct current source into radio frequency oscillating power signal in amplifier; converting radio frequency oscillating power signal to direct current power signal in rectifier; and adjusting efficiency of power transfer by adjusting current-voltage phase characteristic of rectifier.

摘要: The present invention involves a bimodal near-field resonant wireless system for transferring power from one or more photovoltaic cells to a power load. One or more transmission modules are in electrical communication with the one or more photovoltaic cells, converting power from photovoltaic cells into an oscillating electrical power signal having a variable oscillation frequency. Transmitter resonators are in electrical communication with transmission modules resonating at the variable oscillation frequency. Receiver resonators, resonating at the variable oscillation frequency and disposed to bimodally receive power from transmitter resonators simultaneously via capacitive coupling and magnetic induction according to an adjustable transfer mode ratio of capacitive to inductive power transfer. Receiver modules are in electrical communication with receiver resonators, each receiving power from receiver resonators and render power received from receiver resonators into a direct current voltage, and transmit the direct current voltage to the power load.

摘要: A system and associated method transfer power between a DC source and a variable load. Two power signals are extracted from the DC source at HF frequency via two self-synchronous radio frequency rectifiers/amplifiers switched by two corresponding HF switching signals having between them either a frequency difference or a phase difference controlled by a duty cycle and overlap controller. The two HF power signals are mixed in a wired, wireless, or bimodal wireless HF power link system to produce a transferred power signal based on the mixing and on manipulating the phase difference when present. A power signal conversion circuit in communication with the HF power link system produces an unfolded output power signal from the transferred power signal. The system and method allow transfer to the load of at least one of an adjustable DC power signal and an AC power signal phase locked to an existing power signal in the load.
