The power transmitter further includes a coil configured to transmit the power signal to a power receiver, the coil formed of wound Litz wire and including at least one layer, the coil defining, at least, a top face. The power transmitter further includes a shielding comprising a ferrite core and defining a cavity, the cavity configured such that the ferrite core substantially surrounds all but the top face of the coil. The power transmitter includes at least one magnet, the at least one magnet configured to attract at least one receiver magnet when a power receiver is proximate to a surface associated with the power transmitter.

The field strength indicator: receives from an NFC antenna of the NFC device a representative signal of the strength of the NFC field between the NFC device and the another NFC device, compares a value of the representative signal with at least one reference value, and emits a user signal depending on the comparison between the value of the representative signal and the at least one reference value. The user signal displays an indication of the position of the appliance with respect to the wireless power transmitter.

摘要: A wireless power reception device according to an embodiment of the present specification comprises a controller for: receiving wireless power from a wireless power transmission device, and performing power pickup for receiving the wireless power from the wireless power transmission device by magnetic coupling with the wireless power transmission device at an operating frequency; and communicating with the wireless power transmission device by using at least one of in-band communication using the operating frequency and out-band communication using a frequency other than the operating frequency, and controlling reception of the wireless power, wherein, in the power transmission step of receiving the wireless power, the controller transmits or receives, using the in-band communication, a message for controlling the wireless power, and transmits or receives, using the out-band communication, an authentication message for authentication of the wireless power transmission device.

The wearable device further includes a communicator configured to receive the device control signal from the processor and to provide an output to the control system based on the state of the wearable device. At least the processor, the sensor, or the communicator receive power via the energy harvested by the energy harvesting device.

摘要: The invention enables efficient wireless power transfer, and charging of devices and batteries, in a manner that allows freedom of placement of devices or batteries in one or multiple dimensions. Provided is a base unit for wireless power transfer or charging through a time varying magnetic field. The unit typically includes a magnetic material or layer that guides magnetic flux generated by a charger coil as to create a preferential path for returning magnetic flux from a receiver coil in one or multiple dimensions. The receiver may include a magnetic core having a magnetic permeability exceeding 1 with copper Litz wire around a ferrite core. With power receivers proximate to the base unit, the base unit coil may inductively generate a current in receiver coils or receivers associated with the power receivers. Uni-directionally or bi-directionally wireless communication protocols include NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi, and etc. control and optimize power transfer therebetween.
