    摘要: A fuseblock is compact, and electrically conductive components of the fuseblock do not extend beyond a length of a fuse in the fuseblock. The fuseblock can be assembled easily and quickly without tools, and can be easily configured in different ways using the same components. The fuseblock can be snapped onto a mounting rail using mounting projections that are integral with the fuseblock. The fuseblock can include wire end connectors that each have two or more openings for receiving wire ends. The fuseblock also effectively conceals live electrical contacts from accidental touch when the fuseblock is closed and operational, and also when the fuseblock is opened to replace or inspect the fuse, thereby preventing a person servicing the fuseblock from accidentally receiving an electrical shock.

    摘要: A fuse system includes a fuse holder having an outer surface; a pair of fuse clips mounted inside the fuse holder, the pair of fuse clips being recessed from the outer surface of the fuse holder a predetermined distance; an insulative fuse housing; a fuse element mounted within the insulative fuse housing; blade terminals electrically connected to the fuse element and extending from the fuse housing; and an insulative sleeve on each of the blade terminals, the insulative sleeves extending from the fuse housing and covering a portion of each of the respective blade terminals and leaving a remaining portion of the blade terminals exposed; wherein the exposed portions of the blade terminals are less than the predetermined distance so that when the blade terminals make an electrical contact with the fuse clips, the exposed portions of the blade terminals are within the fuse holder and only the insulative sleeves are exposed. The fuse system also includes a projection on one of the fuse clips and the blade terminals and a recess in another of the fuse clips and the blade terminals, wherein the recess is sized so as to receive the projection.

Each blade iron (14) has a blade mounting portion (23) with a peripheral seat (23)′ and three blade fasteners (24). Each blade fastener is configured to pass through the fastener mounting hole and grommet. Each fastener has a neck (25) with an annular groove (26), and a head (27) having a diameter larger than that of the neck. The head is positioned directly adjacent the groove so that contact between the head and the grommet forces a portion of the grommet into the annular groove.
