摘要:
A machine-vision-based counter includes an image acquisition component (imager), wherein light provides discrimination between a background field and imageable units located away from the imager. The imager outputs data representing the field and units; an image processor receiving imager data finds countable units therein. An operator interface accepts command inputs and presents count output. A controller manages image acquisition, processor, and operator interface functions. A counting method includes configuring an imager to detect light, directing light from a source to units positioned to be detected by the imager, and directing the light to the imager. The method includes discriminating between a background field and imageable units; providing, as an imager output, data representing the field and units; configuring an image processor to receive imager data; configuring the processor to interpret the data as counted units on a background field; and configuring an operator interface to present a count result.

Certain embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for interruption workflow management in a clinical enterprise. Certain embodiments provide an interruption workflow management system for a clinical enterprise. The system includes a worklist including a plurality of patient indicators representing patients for which tasks are to be performed by a user. The system also includes a patient panel displaying patient information associated with a patient indicator selected from the worklist. The system further includes a patient indicator shelf holding one or more patient indicators from at least one of the worklist and the patient panel for later retrieval in response to user input. The patient indicator shelf facilitates restoration of a patient indicator from the patient indicator shelf to display in the patient panel in response to user input.
摘要:
A patient information interface system presents an aggregated, graphical view of patient anatomy and history. The system includes a graphical representation of at least a portion of a human anatomy including one or more indicators, aggregated from a plurality of clinical information sources and located at anatomical locations on the representation, that correspond to clinical events that have occurred in connection with a patient. The system also includes an electronic health record timeline of clinical events for the patient. The timeline includes the same one or more indicators that are displayed on the graphical representation corresponding to clinical events that have occurred in connection with a patient. A selection or change of an indicator on one of the graphical representation or the electronic health record timeline triggers a corresponding selection or change of the indicator on the other of the graphical representation or the electronic health record timeline.

Certain embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for presentation of clinical evidence to a user. Certain embodiments provide an improved picture archiving and communication system (PACS) including a workflow manager facilitating presentation and diagnostic interpretation of clinical evidence aggregated from a plurality of sources. The PACS also includes a workflow screen including a plurality of presentation panes. Each of the plurality of presentation panes displays clinical evidence from the workflow manager according to a particular perspective. The plurality of presentation panes are independent but coordinated, and each of the plurality of presentation panes is context sensitive.

This invention relates to computerized methods and systems for evaluating employee benefit plans. In one embodiment, a computerized method for determining improvement actions for an employee benefit plan includes uniquely associating an improvement action for one or more attributes of an employee benefit plan; receiving the status of one or more of the attributes for a first employee benefit plan; identifying the attributes of the first employee benefit plan which have a different status than a set of other employee benefit plans, and providing an action plan to improve the first employee benefit plan, the action plan comprising one or more actions associated with the identified attributes.

Systems and methods are provided for proactively monitoring a healthcare information system. The monitor system has a plurality of counters and one or more notification agents. Counters monitor performance parameters by recording the values of the parameters at a predetermined interval. Multiple counter instances may be implemented. Agents notify designated representatives when the value of a counter exceeds a threshold. Notifications may be escalated as needed. The proactive monitor system may further include an operator capable of performing fixes to bring the value of the counter back within the threshold. Two user interfaces may be included, connecting to a customer support system and a user of the healthcare information system, respectively. The proactive detection, notification, and repair of business or system failures may be performed manually or automatically, onsite or over a network.
