摘要： In the present scalable system routing method, received packets are associating with threads for processing the received packets. While a previously received packet is being processed, arrival of an interrupt is checked. If there is an interrupt, a thread is created associating the interrupt is created. Then, a determination of whether the thread associated with the interrupt has a priority that is higher than the priority of a thread associated with the previously received packet is made. If the thread associated with the interrupt has a higher priority than the previously received packet, the thread associated with the previously received packet is saved in a Shared Arena storage area. However, if the thread associated with the interrupt does not have a higher priority than the previously received packet, the thread associated with the interrupt is queued. Because threads are attached to the packets, the threads can now be suspended and resumed without having to disable interrupts, which includes periods during a context switch. As a result, a more flexible and efficient scheduling routing method can be implemented.

摘要： A service module incorporated within the network infrastructure intercepts packets communicated between a client and a server to determine whether the connection corresponds to one of a plurality of service applications that may supported by the service module. If so, the service module breaks the connection by terminating the connection with the client at the service module and opening a separate connection between the service module and the server. The service application may then perform application-specific process of the data communicated between the client and server. In order to increase processing efficiency associated with classifying the connection between the client and the server, the service module stores classification rules in a plurality of hashing tables, with hash conflicts arranged as an m-ary tree structure. This arrangement enables the service module to efficiently search for classification rules and resolve hash conflicts without imposing a significant processing penalty.

摘要： An automated ignition assembly for a gas-fueled appliance includes a pressure plate positioned between an upper bellows and a lower bellows, each of which is in selective communication with a fuel gas source. If fuel gas is directed to the lower bellows, gas within the upper bellows is diverted to an ignition site; as the lower bellows inflates, it lifts the pressure plate and an associated linkage assembly to engage a piezo igniter, which creates a spark at the ignition site. The lower bellows is then deflated and the upper bellows is inflated to again engage the piezo igniter. Once a flame has been generated, or if a flame has not been generated within a predetermined time period, an automated valve disables fuel gas flow to the bellows.

摘要： Quantitative refracture diagnostic and fracture-injection/falloff models may be used in methods for oil and gas subsurface formation evaluation techniques. More particularly, such methods may be used to select candidate wells and well candidate layers for stimulation treatments in a subterranean formation. An example of a method for selecting well candidate layers for stimulation treatments in a subterranean formation may comprise the steps of: selecting a candidate well; selecting a reservoir layer to be tested; performing a quantitative refracture-candidate diagnostic test on the reservoir layer; determining at least one reservoir property of the reservoir layer using the quantitative refracture-candidate diagnostic test; and modeling a proposed stimulation treatment using the at least one reservoir property in a reservoir simulation model so as to predict the efficacy of the proposed stimulation treatment.

摘要： An automated process to periodically check and ensure that earth terminal settings provide compliant EIRPSD. For example, one embodiment of the present invention provides an apparatus which queries the modem for its transmit symbol rate and the Block Up-Converter (BUC) for its RF output power. Using these two values and preprogrammed values for connection loss between the BUC and antenna, the current input power spectral density being transferred to the antenna is computed by the apparatus and compared to the preprogrammed regulatory limit for the specific antenna. If the limit is being exceeded, the apparatus sets BUC attenuation to compensate for the excess.
