摘要： An spacer assembly for spacing a circuit board from a chassis includes a plug that is adapted to extend through a mounting aperture in the chassis and a cap that is adapted to receive the plug in locking engagement for sandwiching the chassis therebetween. The cap has an upper wall that supports the circuit board and a skirt that extends from the upper wall to form a hollow interior that is sized to receive the plug. First cooperating structure on the plug and cap hold the plug within the hollow interior of the cap, while second cooperating structure on the plug and cap hold the chassis therebetween.

摘要： A system for facilitating the mounting of circuit boards within an enclosure. The system includes one or more standoffs that are each received through appropriately formed corresponding openings through a printed circuit board. A flexible clip is attached to the printed circuit board proximate each opening. Each clip includes a retainer portion designed to receive the head of the standoff. Thus, the printed circuit board may be attached to the standoffs simply by placing the circuit board openings over the standoffs and moving the printed circuit board laterally until the clips and standoffs are engaged.

The system includes one or more protective housings that are disposed about corresponding openings through a printed circuit board. The body includes an engagement end that engages with a receptacle on a sub-pan and a cap end that positions the body. The rotation limiter includes a receiving member and a positioning member. The receiving member couples with the body. The positioning member extends from the rotation limiter to limit rotation of the body coupled thereto. The housing receives the rotation limiter and the body. The housing includes a rotation aperture that receives a positioning member such that the rotation limiter is rotatable along the rotation aperture. The housing further includes a lateral aperture to receive the body such that the body is inserted through the lateral aperture and coupled to the rotation limiter.

摘要： An assembly for facilitating the installation, securement and removal of a computer component from a computer chassis. The assembly includes a base connectable to the computer chassis and a handle pivotally connected to the base. The handle includes a notch and tab portion at each end for engaging a portion of the computer chassis for facilitating the installation of the component with the computer chassis when the handle is pivoted in a first direction and for facilitating the removal of the component from within the computer chassis when the handle is pivoted in a second direction. The handle further includes an aperture for receiving a flexible interlock tab connected to the base for releasable interlocking the handle and the base together, such that this, along with the tab portions of the handle, facilitate securing the computer component within the computer chassis.
