The two components have nested curved portions allowing mutual angulation while maintaining the nested relation, thus allowing the telephone component to swing through a range of angulation with respect to the base component.     摘要: A support unit includes an outer panel intended to lie in a vertical plane when in use, the outer panel having a straight, horizontal lower edge. The support unit further includes an inner panel extending generally at right angles to the outer panel and connected thereto along a portion of the lower edge of the outer panel which is adjacent one end of that edge. The inner panel has structure defining a first horizontal contact plane on the upper side of the inner panel, and a second horizontal contact plane on the lower side of the inner panel. These two planes are substantially parallel. The preferred embodiment further includes a flange adjacent the mid-region of the outer panel and extending generally parallel with the two contact planes. In the preferred embodiment, the flange is flat and has a top surface which contains a hypothetical line extending at right angles to the outer panel. The support unit is such that a pair of them, with one rotated about the hypothetical line through 180° with respect to the other, can be fitted together with the hypothetical lines coincident, the flanges in surface contact, the lower edges of the outer panel in aligned contact, and the first contact plane of each support unit coplanar with the second contact plane of the other support unit, whereby a single support unit alone can provide a load-bearing foot with which to support at least part of the overall weight of a stack of such items, while a pair of support units in rotated juxtaposition about their hypothetical lines can provide an interstitial spacer between two stacked items. The flange has a detent which interacts with a further detent on the outer panel of the second support unit, in such a way as to restrain the support units from disengaging.

    摘要: A gas delivery system that includes a housing and a flow generator that includes a blower assembly and an isolation assembly for coupling the flow generator to the housing. The isolation assembly includes at least one elastomeric isolation member having first and second portions, and the blower assembly is coupled to the isolation assembly through the at least one elastomeric isolation member. The first portion is able to shear in a first direction and the second portion is able to shear in a second direction generally perpendicular to the first direction to permit the blower assembly to move relative to the housing in three dimensions. Also, a gas delivery system that includes a housing and a flow generator provided within the housing, wherein the gas delivery system generates no more than about 30 or 35 dB(A) of noise regardless of the physical orientation of the housing.

    摘要: A wave shim and a method of shimming two elements is provided. The method includes inserting between two elements, at least one wave shim, which is a wave-shaped compressible body with a slot subdividing a portion of the body at the end into a pair of wave-shaped extending arms, and a tab attached to the body at a side opposite the wave-shaped extending arms. The shim has an area of reduced body material at a junction point between the tab and the body so that the tab can be broken off, and at least one area of reduced body material exists at corresponding locations along each of the wave-shaped extending arms so that the length of the arms can be reduced. The tab and arms define through-holes and grooves, which can be used in conjunction with a guide-line to align several elements.
