    摘要: The router table push shoe 10 of the present invention has an upwardly extending handle 11 which is angled slightly towards the operator and away from the router table fence 55. The push shoe of the present invention comes with an adjustable bottom guard 20 removably attached to the base 40, and an adjustable side guard 12 which can be removed and used as a bit height measuring tool. Both the bottom guard 20 and the side guard 12 are adjustable to enable the push shoe 10 to hold thin and narrow stock. The push shoe 10 also comes equipped with a miter bar 30. The horizontally adjustable bottom guard 20 is removably attached to the base 40 via a three wing knob 22. The push shoe also has formed in the front right corner a dovetail gauge 17 for making both male and female joints for sliding dovetail joints. All of these attachments allow the push shoe 10 to be used as a push shoe and also as a miter gauge, depth of bit height reference, a scale to check the distance from the router bit to the fence, and a gauge for making 1/2" sliding dovetail joints.

    摘要: In order to enable both miters and box joints to be fabricated using the same piece of apparatus, a miter fence is provided with multiple slidable portions or segments which enable a ledge to be projected from a lower edge of one of the fence faces and for a gap, which is consistent with the spacing required between the male pins of a box joint, to be opened up. A tab is provided to enable a work piece to be placed in abutment therewith. This tab can be used as each slot is cut using a dado blade to set the appropriate spacing for the next slot. The ends of the fence are provided with end caps which have a 45.degree. angle. These caps can be removed and switched about so that the fence can be used on either the left and the right hand sides of the saw table.

    摘要: A hole saw comprises a cup with two cutting teeth positioned on the open end of the cup. The two cutting teeth are substantially diametrically opposed to one another to provide a balanced cutting engagement of the media and are spaced apart by a chord length of between about 45 to about 180 degrees. A pair of secondary gullets are positioned in the cup proximate to a forward cutting edge of the two cutting teeth. The secondary gullets have a predetermined depth and shape along a longitudinal axis of the cup to suitably remove debris from the cup during a portion of the duration of the hole cut. A plurality of raker teeth may be positioned on the chords defining the spacing between the cutting teeth. The raker teeth are disposed below the cutting teeth, approximately 0.030 inches to engage and move cutting debris formed by the cutting teeth.

    摘要: A drill bit is provided with a pair of spiral cutting blades having opposed cutting edges which come together at an angle to form a starting tip. Each of the spiral cutting blades includes a spiral flute which extends longitudinally thereof and is provided with a cutting face thereon. Each cutting edge is provided with an inner edge segment and an outer edge segment wherein the inner edge segment extends outwardly from the starting tip a preselected distance and terminates at an inwardly extending inner wall portion of a gullet. The inner wall portion of the gullet is arcuate in structure and terminates at a preselected inward position with an outer wall of the gullet. The outer wall of the gullet extends angularly outwardly terminating at the intersection with an outer segment of the cutting edge. The outer edge segment of the cutting edge is defined by the outward terminating end of the outer wall of the gullet and the outer most extremity of the cutting edge.
