摘要： The present invention provides for the first time the identification of salivary protein and RNA factors that can be used in the detection of primary Sjögren's Syndrome. The present invention therefore provides methods of diagnosing and providing a prognosis for Sjögren's Syndrome, by examining relevant proteins (including certain autoantigens and autoantibodies) and RNA in a patient's saliva.
