摘要： Uterine massage belts and related methods are generally described. In some embodiments, a massage belt may be configured to compress a uterus between two force-applying components to induce uterine contraction and reduce the risk of postpartum hemorrhage. The belt may include at least one roller configured to push at least a portion of the uterus (e.g., the uterine fundus) in an inferior direction. The belt may be used with at least one inflatable body to push at least a portion of the uterus in a superior direction. The uterus positioned between the opposing forces may be urged to contract and increase its muscle tone to avoid severe postpartum complications. In some embodiments, the inflatable body may be part of the belt and may be positioned proximal to the pubic bone of the patient. In other embodiments, the inflatable body may be separate from the belt and positioned inside the vagina.

摘要： Hemostasis systems and related methods are generally described. In some embodiments, a hemostasis system may include an inflatable intrauterine balloon. The balloon may be configured to apply pressure to a patient's uterus to reduce the risk of postpartum hemorrhage. In some embodiments, the balloon may be inserted at least partially into the uterus and inflated. A support, which may be located inside the balloon, may expand from a contracted configuration to an expanded configuration to help maintain the balloon's position relative to the cervix when the balloon is inflated. In some embodiments, the support may contract with and/or due to deflation of the balloon, allowing the balloon to move out of the uterus. The balloon may be covered with a hemostatic covering (e.g., gauze preloaded with a hemostatic agent such as hexatomic acid) to enhance the balloon's hemostasis properties.

摘要： Uterine hemostasis devices and related methods are generally described. In some embodiments, a uterine hemostasis device may include a pouch enclosing one or more fluid absorbing bodies for treatment of postpartum hemorrhage. The pouch may be delivered to a patient's uterus, whereby the fluid absorbing bodies may absorb uterine fluids (e.g., blood) and expand to apply pressure to the uterine walls. Following hemostasis of the uterus, the pouch may be extracted with retrieval tethers accessible from the patient's vagina or vaginal opening. In some embodiments, the pouch may be compressed prior to extraction, such that it may pass through the cervical canal more easily. In some embodiments, the pouch may enclose one or more pouches, such that the fluid absorbing bodies may be extracted in batches to facilitate removal. The pouch may be delivered with a syringe-like applicator positioned in the cervical canal.
