    摘要: An electrical connector includes a connector body (2), and a plurality of passageways (20). A passageway retention wall (202) extends into each of the passageways. Each of the terminals (3) has a terminal retention section (322) defining thereof a retention edge, which is adapted to be rested on said passageway retention wall for securing the terminal onto the connector body. This arrangement will prevent the connector body to be removed therefrom by an improperly upward force, such as force applied to pull out the mating component from the electrical connector.

    摘要: A battery connector (1) comprises a dielectric housing (2) and a first conductive contact (4). The dielectric housing (2) comprises a cylindrical receiving cavity, a base (20), holding means (24) formed toward an upper section of the receiving cavity for engaging with the top face of the accommodated battery (5) to prevent the battery (5) from coming off, and a pair of spring strengtheners (22) extending upwardly from said base (20) for abutting a bottom face of the accommodated battery (5). The first conductive contact (4) comprises a first retaining section (40) secured in said dielectric housing (2) at a peripheral area of said base (20), a spring arm (42) inclining upwardly from said retaining section (40). The spring arm (42) extends between said pair of spring strengtheners (22), and the distal end of said spring arm (42) is free.

    摘要: An electrical connector includes a connector body (10) having a front end (11) and a rear end (12), a plurality of passageways (13) extending from the front end towards the rear end, and terminals (20) within the passageways. The terminal includes an extension section (26) extending a distance away from the rear end of the connector body. A supporting member (15) is disposed adjacent the rear end for supporting at least a portion of the extension section. Thus, the arrangement of the supporting member will prevent the free extension sections of the prior art from being deflected or damaged.
