    Abstract: Systems and methods for providing seamless switching of audio and/or video devices for collaboration applications are described. In an embodiment, an Information Handling System (IHS) may include a processor and a memory coupled to the processor, the memory having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution, cause the IHS to: receive, during a collaboration session facilitated by a collaboration application, an indication of an event, where the collaboration application is configured to receive audio or video data from an audio or video device via a device handle; and in response to the event, map a different audio or video device to the device handle, where the collaboration application is configured to receive additional audio or video data from the different audio or video device via the device handle.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for distributing workloads across devices based on network conditions are described. In an illustrative, non-limiting embodiment an Information Handling System (IHS) of a workspace orchestration service obtains, from host IHSs, specifications of the respective host IHSs, where a first host IHSs hosts a plurality of workloads. The workspace orchestration service also obtains, from one or more of the host IHSs including a second host IHS, a respective one or more network connectivity parameters of the one or more host IHSs, including at least one network connectivity parameter from the second host IHS. The workspace orchestration service transitions one or more of the plurality of workloads from the first host IHS to the second host IHS based, at least in part, on the specifications of the first and second host IHSs, and the network connectivity parameters of the second host IHSs.

    Abstract: A system and method for transitioning workspaces in a multi-device environment are described. In an illustrative, non-limiting embodiment, an IHS may include computer-executable instructions to receive a request to transition a workspace from the IHS to a computing platform external to the IHS. Based upon the request, the instructions calculate a first Best Known Configuration (BKC) for executing the workspace on the IHS, and transmit the obtained BKC to the computing platform. The computing platform uses the BKC to calculate a second BKC for executing the workspace on the computing platform based on the capabilities of the computing platform, and instantiate the workspace on the computing platform using the second BKC. The BKC is based on workspace parametric data associated with operation of the workspace on the IHS.
