    摘要: A device for adjusting a lid cover for an oxygen mask dispensing container. The device includes a stationary plate having a cover that is adjustable relative to the plate by means of a spring such that an outermost lid cover is capable of easily mating with the opening in the interior lining of an aircraft. The lid is spring-biased toward the plate such that when the plate is attached to the oxygen mask dispensing container body, the lid is automatically pulled into position relative to the opening in the interior lining of the aircraft.

    摘要: A valve manifold assembly with a valve body having at least one inlet and at least one outlet. The outlet has an opening disposed inside a chamber formed in the valve body. The valve body has at least one groove defined therein. A valve member is attached to the valve body. A retaining member is disposed in at least one groove in the valve body so that the retaining member engages with the valve member to cause it to sealingly engage with the outlet opening. The retaining member is capable of being removed from the groove such that it no longer engages with the valve member and it causes the valve member to disengage from the outlet opening.

    摘要: A single-use damping mechanism. A piston assembly fits within a chamber defined by a piston receiving member. The distal end of the piston receiving member includes a first and second passages which are disposed in fluidic series between the chamber and the ambient air. The first, inner passage is relatively small and controls the damping time of the mechanism. The second, outer passage is relatively large and holds a sealing assembly that prevents fluid from escaping from the chamber, through the first passage, until the mechanism is to be used. The piston assembly includes a pressure relief assembly, which comprises a cavity filled with a compressible material, into and out of which fluid can flow as necessary to protect the mechanism from temperature related pressure changes, and yet which does not interfere with the damping characteristics of the mechanism.
