    摘要: A digitizer controller includes a panel drive signal generator (10), a reference voltage generator (12), a first multiplexer (14) for selectively outputting either a panel drive signal or a reference voltage signal, a 4-channel driving portion (16) for generating a channel driving signal which is provided to each corner of a panel, a third multiplexer (26) for selectively outputting one of the finger touch signals and a stylus signal output from a stylus, a band pass filter, a rectifier (30) for rectifying the output of the band pass filter, a low pass filter (38) for detecting a substantial direct current component from the output of the rectifier (30), an analog-to-digital converter (44) for outputting the output of the low pass filter in synchronization with a panel driving control signal as a coordinates signal, and an interface (46). Therefore, the digitizer controller can be adopted to each of the stylus, finger touch and touch panel type digitizers, and in implementing a semiconductor integrated circuit, reliability is provided and power consumption is lowered.

    摘要: A position coordinates signal detecting circuit of a sensor panel is provided. The position coordinates signal detecting circuit of the sensor panel according to the present invention includes first through fourth resistors each of which has one end connected to one of the left upper-most edge, the left lower-most edge, the right upper-most edge, and the right lower-most edge of the sensor panel. First through fourth driving signal generators are respectively connected to the other side of the first through fourth resistors for generating a driving signal so as to drive the sensor panel. Analog switches receive first through fourth pairs of voltages respectively generated at both ends of the first through fourth resistors. The first through fourth pairs of voltage are multiplexed in response to first through fourth selecting signals to provide a multiplexed signal, and a differential amplifier for amplifies the multiplexed signal. The position coordinates detecting circuit of the sensor panel according to the present invention makes it possible to amplify the voltage difference between both end of the variable resistors. Thus, the characteristics mismatching between different amplifiers is reduced, and the position coordinates are detected accurately.

    摘要: Provided are a method of driving a liquid crystal panel which prevents unintended digital image data from being displayed on a liquid crystal panel when power is provided or interrupted, and a source driver and a liquid crystal display apparatus. The source driver includes output buffers; output pads; and a switching unit which is disposed between the output buffers and the output pads and controls an electrical connection state of the output pads. If a level up or a level down of a power voltage occurs, the switching unit prevents output signals of the output buffers from being transmitted to the liquid crystal panel via corresponding output pads and performs at least one of a charge sharing operation for connecting the output pads to each other and a discharging operation for providing a discharge path from the output pads to a ground terminal, in a preset period.

The differential amplifier is responsive to a pair of differential input signals and may include a pull-down current source responsive to a pair of bias signals. The output driver has a pull-up path and pull-down path therein. These paths are joined together at an output node. The output driver has a first input terminal electrically coupled to a first output terminal of the differential amplifier. The control circuit is electrically coupled to the differential amplifier and a second input terminal of the output driver. The control circuit is configured to dispose the pull-down path in a nonconductive state when the output node is being switched low-to-high.
