    摘要: The method and apparatus for measuring response time of liquid crystal includes controlling temperature of a liquid crystal display panel, generating a liquid crystal driving signal having a variable voltage level that is changed according to a response property of the liquid crystal display panel and a target voltage level, and supplying the liquid crystal driving signal to the liquid crystal display panel, detecting the response property corresponding to the liquid crystal driving signal, and adjusting the variable voltage level until the response property reaches a desired level and setting a modulated data substantially equal to the variable voltage level when the response property reaches the desired level, the modulated data based on temperatures being determined by changing the temperature of the liquid crystal display panel. Also, method and apparatus for driving a LCD device using the above-described method.

    摘要: An optical measuring apparatus and method for a stereoscopic display device are capable of measuring optical characteristics of the stereoscopic display device. The optical measuring apparatus includes a test image supplier for generating a 3D test signal, a 3D display for displaying left-eye image and/or right-eye image based on the 3D test signal supplied from the test image supplier, an image selection member for selectively transmitting the left-eye image and right-eye image to be displayed on the 3D display, and a light measuring device that measures luminance of the image transmitted via the image selection member and calculates 3D image crosstalk of the left eye image and the right eye image based on the measured luminance.

    摘要: An optical sheet optimization method includes the steps of: extracting a statistic sample using transmissivity, haze data and luminance data of an optical diffusion sheet corresponding to the transmissivity and the haze data; making a regression model for the extracted statistic sample; calculating a regression coefficient to minimize an error term (residual) of the regression model and deriving a regression expression using the calculated regression coefficient; and predicting a luminance of the optical diffusion sheet due to changes of the transmissivity and the haze data using the derived regression expression.
