摘要： A stone cutting belt includes a flexible and continuous main body with length and lateral width, having a top surface and a bottom surface. The belt includes a pluraity of cutter segments, each comprising a preferably metallic drive block and a metallic carrier block mounted on the top surface of the drive block. The carrier block includes a tooth slot in which a cutting tooth is mounted, such as by silver soldering. The cutting tooth can be a poly-crystalline diamond tooth with a tungsten carbide substrate. The cutting tooth is mounted so that the tooth projects slightly above the top surface of the belt main body. Continuous cables extend along the entire length of the belt and through bores in the plurality of drive locks. The main body is of a resilient material in which the cutter segments and cables are embedded in an injection molding process. The cutter segments are held in position at spaced intervals along the length of the belt by the resilient body. The cutting teeth are arranged in a repeated pattern including two groups of teeth. In one group, the teeth are arranged to converge alternately from each of the opposite sides of the belt toward the center of the belt until a continuous cutting width has been formed. The second group of teeth are similarly arranged, except that the teeth in the second group overlap the teeth of the first group to eliminate streaks along the cutting path.

A motor belt combination is operable to drive one of the sheaves and move the belt. The frame is vertically movable by a pair of racks and pinions driven by a motor. The belt includes a plurality of abrasive pad holders mounted thereto with each holder including an abrasive pad having an outwardly facing abrasive surface. A guide bar mounted to the frame is in tension guiding the belt along a straight path and providing a rigid backing as the belt is driven and lowered through the block of stone cutting a slab therefrom.

摘要： A stone cutting belt includes a flexible and continuous main body with length and lateral width, having a top surface and a bottom surface. The continuous flexible cutting belt includes a plurality of spaced apart abrasive cutting elements extending across the top and sides of the belt. The cutting elements are flush with the remainder of the top and side surfaces of the belt which includes a molded-in-place resilient material. Belt strength is provided by a flexible cable extending through the length of the belt.

摘要： The invention relates to a diamond belt for cutting stones, like marble, granite, and others, generally used as an endless, that is continuous, belt, and characterized in that it has a flexible core, consisting of one or more cables (1), there being provided, slipped thereon through bores (2), rigid segments (3), generally made of metal, which are spaced and connected both to each other and to the flexible core (1), by incorporation in a flexible material, such as rubber or plastic, which forms the body (4) of the belt, filling the bores (2) of the rigid segments (3) and the intervals between them, and eventually covering the segments at least partially, the said segments (3) being provided with diamond surfaces, which project slightly above the body (4) of the belt, at least on its active front surface, facing the stone to be cut. Preferably, the diamond surface of each rigid segment (3) of the belt consists of a corresponding sintered diamond element, applied on the body of the rigid segment (3).

摘要： A stone cutting device including a continuous flexible cutting belt for cutting a slot in stone which is in the round. The preferred embodiment of the invention includes a groove on the top and bottom edges of the jib and outlet means opening in the groove allowing water to be emitted between the groove and the belt to provide lubrication and reduced vibration as the belt passes through the groove. During operation, the water thus emitted from the jib passes outside the groove and into the cut slot in the stone and washes away stone cuttings for improved operation of the device.
