摘要： An anti-G pressure garment system incorporates an inflatable pressure bladder covering portions of the wearer's body. The bladder is provided with an area made of a first material formed by a flexible air and liquid impermeable, vapor permeable, micro-porous material that facilitates the passage of water vapor therethrough whereby pressurized gas will be retained by the said bladder and water vapor adjacent said inside layer will pass through said material into the interior of the bladder. The bladder also includes a second area made of liquid impermeable, air and water vapor permeable material so that the second area permits a preselected amount of controlled leakage from the bladder to the wearer while maintaining adequate pressure in the bladder.

摘要： A pressure-applying garment particularly suited for locating and applying pressure to transmitters is formed by a main inflatable bladder inflated to first pressure to press its inner wall toward a wearer and conform the inner wall to contours of said wearer and to apply the desired pressure between the wearer and a transmitter interposed between the main bladder and the wearer. A plurality of auxiliary inflatable bladders positioned relative to the main bladder and oriented to having their inner walls facing toward said wearer. The auxiliary bladders are provided with separate inflating systems so that at least some of said auxiliary bladders are inflated to a selected pressure different from (higher than) the first pressure to deform inner wall of its auxiliary bladder to conform with and press towards adjacent portions of said wearer and preferably to apply the desired pressure between the wearer and a transmitter interposed between the auxiliary bladder and the wearer.

摘要： A method and system for facilitating voice over broadband communication for use in residences and small businesses is disclosed. A voice signal from an analog telephone is frequency upconverted. The frequency upconverted voice signal is communicated over pre-existing analog telephone wiring. The communicated frequency upconverted voice signal is then frequency downconverted for use by an integrated access device. In this manner, re-wiring of the residence or business is avoided.

摘要： An encircling sealable closure such as a neck band or collar made of a band of compressible material interposed between a three layer inflatable band at the neck of the user provides a neck seal by inflation of the inflatable band positioned between the compressible material and a substantially non-extendable outer wall. Inflation of the inflatable band deforms the compressible material to conform with and surround the neck of the wearer preventing the ingress of water past the neck seal so formed.

摘要： A discharge monitoring system for a compressed gas cylinder incorporates a seal rupturing pin mounted in a gas passage that is intended to connect to a conventional triggering mechanism for activating the seal rupturing pin connects to the object to be inflated. A chamber divided by a piston into a high pressure side which is directly connected to the gas passage and a lower pressure side on the opposite side of the piston. A flag or indicator associated with the piston is move into a flagging position when a high gas pressure is present in the gas passage and moves the piston to a displaced position. With this system, an initial high pressure formed in the gas passage immediately after the gas cylinder seal is punctured, develops a gas pressure within the chamber sufficient to displace the piston. The piston is fictionally held in its initial position indicating the cylinder is charged or after discharge in its displaced position indicating the cylinder has been discharged.
