Abstract: A filter assembly for an enclosure, particularly for an ostomy bag, is described having an enclosure side, a first layer which is gas permeable, and an adsorbent layer comprising adsorbent particles dispersed in a fine fiber web. The enclosure side of the filter assembly includes an adhesive zone in which adhesive is present having an outer adhesive perimeter and a weld area surrounding at least a portion of the adhesive zone, where the filter assembly is heat-sealable to the enclosure at the weld area. A method of assembly is also described.

Abstract: A pulse ring assembly for air cleaner systems that is adapted to produce a pulse ring of gas to clean a filter element. The air cleaner system may include an outer tube and an inner tube configured to receive the inner tube such that at least a portion of an interior surface of the outer tube faces at least a portion of an exterior surface of the inner tube. The outer tube may include a pulse port extending between the interior and exterior surfaces of the outer tube into an outer tube passageway. Filtered air may be configured to flow from a first filter cartridge, through the outer and inner tubes, and to an engine intake. The system may also include a pulse jet apparatus in fluid communication with the pulse port of the outer tube and configured to direct gas through the pulse port towards the first filter cartridge.

Abstract: Aspects herein include filtration systems with multitiered data exchange capabilities. In an embodiment, a filtration system with multitiered data exchange capabilities is included. The system can include a first data communication tier including a filter element, the filter element storing data, and a first sensor. The system can include a second data communication tier including a reader device in communication with the first sensor. The system can include a third data communication tier including an engine control unit (ECU) in communication with the reader device, wherein the ECU stores data. The second data communication tier receives data from the first data communication tier and the third data communication tier. The second data communication tier executes operations on the received data to create a processed data set. Further, the second data communication tier sends the processed data set to the third data communication tier. Other embodiments are also included herein.
