摘要: The present invention relates to a flexible container (10). In an embodiment, the flexible container includes a first flexible film (12) superimposed on an opposing second flexible film (14). The first flexible film and the second flexible film are sealed along a common peripheral edge (16) to form an inner container having a closed chamber. The first flexible film and the second flexible film each has an outermost layer comprising an ethylene-based polymer. Each outermost layer is a surface-treated layer having a surface energy from 33 mN/m to 36 mN/m. The flexible container includes a peel sleeve (22, 24) superimposed on each respective outermost layer and along the common peripheral edge. The flexible container includes a release material (26) located between the peel sleeve and each outermost layer along the common peripheral edge. The release material releasably attaches the peel sleeve to the inner container.

摘要: According to one or more embodiments disclosed herein, a coated film may include a polyolefin film and a coating. The polyolefin film may include an ethylene-based polymer. The coating may include an outer surface and an internal surface. The internal surface may be in contact with the polyolefin film. The coating may include polyurethane. The outer surface of the coating may be an outer surface of the coated film. At least a portion of a surface of the coated film that includes the coating may have a gloss of from 40 units to 100 units at 60° or a matte finish of 15 units to 30 units at 85°. The polyurethane may be formed from an isocyanate component having an isocyanate (NCO) content greater than 10%.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a multilayer film containing at least three layers, including (A) a core layer containing a high density polyethylene (HDPE) having a density from 0.940 g/cc to 0.980 g/cc; and (B) skin layers on opposite sides of the core layer. Each skin layer includes (i) a propylene/ethylene copolymer with from greater than 0 wt % to 5 wt % units derived from ethylene comonomer; (ii) from 3,000 to 3,500 ppm of a slip agent; and (iii) from 4,000 to 10,000 ppm of an antiblock agent.

The front surface defines an x-axis, X. The flat recessed surface has a first endpoint (A1), wherein an axis that is perpendicular to the flat recessed surface at the first endpoint (A1) defines a first y-axis (Y1). The seal bar has a concave surface extending the distance (d) between the first endpoint (A1) and a point (B1) on the flat front surface. The concave surface defines a quadrant arc segment of an ellipse between the first endpoint (A1) and the point (B1).

Two or more of the first polyolefin, second polyolefin, third polyolefin, and fourth polyolefin may be the same or different. The third polyolefin may be a polyethylene composition having a density of 0.924 g/cm3 to 0.936 g/cm3 and a melt index (I2) of 0.25 g/10 minutes to 2.0 g/10 minutes.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to multilayer structures. The multilayer structures may include a first layer and a barrier layer. The first layer may include, based on the total weight of the first layer, from 90 wt. % to 99.5 wt. % of an ethylene/alpha-olefin interpolymer having a density of from 0.945 g/cc to 0.970 g/cc and from 0.5 wt. % to 10 wt. % of a compatibilizer. The compatibilizer may include an anhydride and/or carboxylic acid functionalized ethylene/alpha-olefin elastomer having a density of from 0.850 g/cc to 0.910 g/cc and a melt viscosity of greater than 200,000 cP, when measured at 177 C.
