Abstract: Functional film systems are disclosed that include a functional film having a surface energy; and a cap sheet, adjacent to the functional film, having a surface energy. In aspects, the ratio of the surface energy of the cap sheet to the functional film, measured at a point where the cap sheet contacts the functional film, is no greater than 2.6; and the peel strength may be from about 1 to about 50.
