Provided is a device and a method for smart device and sensor node integrated application update, including an application program updating device including a generator to generate a package in a storage space by installing a sensing application, an extractor to extract an installation file and a profile of an application program interworking with the sensing application from the package, a recognizer to recognize a sensor node by referring to the profile, an installer to install the application program by transmitting the installation file to the sensor node, and an executor to execute the application program and the sensing application when the application program is installed in the sensor node.

Disclosed is a seamless complex positioning method using heterogeneous positioning techniques, the method including: performing, by a positioning control apparatus, satellite signal-based positioning in an area where a satellite signal is received; determining, by the apparatus, whether a first position of a mobile terminal determined using satellite signal-based positioning is close to a shaded area; determining, by the apparatus, a non-satellite signal-based positioning scheme supported in the shaded area when the first position is close to the shaded area; determining, by the apparatus, a second position of the mobile terminal while performing satellite signal-based positioning and positioning according to the non-satellite signal-based positioning scheme simultaneously when the first position is close to the shaded area; and stopping, by the apparatus, satellite signal-based positioning and performing only positioning according to the non-satellite signal-based positioning scheme when the second position is inside the shaded area.

A vehicle parking method in a smart parking system is provided. The vehicle parking method includes measuring, by parked vehicles, inter-vehicle distance values by using sensors embedded therein, receiving, by a parking target vehicle, the inter-vehicle distance values from the parked vehicles by using vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication, selecting one distance value from among the inter-vehicle distance values, and determining the selected distance value as a parking space, transmitting, by the parking target vehicle, a movement request message to two parked vehicles configuring the parking space by using the V2V communication, moving, by the two parked vehicles, based on the movement request message and extending the parking space to an available parking space, and performing, by the parking target vehicle, an automatic parking process for parking in the available parking space.

According to one embodiment disclosed herein, an edge device may include: a sensor circuit capable of sensing a surrounding environment; and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to: obtain sensor data about the surrounding environment through the sensor circuit; identify a notification urgency of the sensor data by performing an inference based on a neural network graph via an artificial intelligence inference engine; and adjust a notification period of the sensor data depending on the identified urgency.

Provided is an apparatus and method for detecting a traffic flooding attack and conducting an in-depth analysis using data mining that may rapidly detect a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack, for example, a traffic flooding attack, developed more variously and firmly from a denial of service (DoS) attack, perform an attack type classification, and conduct a semantic analysis with respect to the attack. The apparatus and method may support a system operation and provide a more stable service, by rapidly detecting a traffic flooding attack, classifying a type of the attack, and conducting a semantic analysis based on a prediction and analysis scheme of data mining.

The invention relates to a technology for detecting an abnormal signal using a filter for removing normal sound (or normal signals) around a sensor at normal times. The filter is provided to remove normal sound based on a denoising autoencoder learning technique for removing noise and used to determine whether field sound is an abnormal signal different from that of normal times. The filter is trained to pass normal sound, regarded as noise, to output a value of 0 and pass an abnormal signal without change. The filter is retrained by collecting only normal sound rather than abnormal signals in the field and then adding the collected normal sound to the existing training data. Therefore, even machine-learning nonexperts may easily and conveniently retrain the filter.

An apparatus for forecasting energy consumption includes a load data collection unit to collect low level data related to energy load data. The apparatus includes a filtering/attribute selection unit to eliminate duplicated attributes from attributes of low level data to produce an optimal attribute set. The apparatus includes a training unit produces a multi-class in which a plurality of single classes is hierarchically coupled in at least two levels and creates training data used for forecasting the energy consumption based on the produced multi-class. The apparatus includes a forecasting unit calculates the energy consumption to be forecasted on a basis of the real-time low level data, the multi-class and the training data. Therefore, it is possible to contribute to the progressive expansion and update of a cooling load forecasting system.
