Abstract: A trim assembly for a regulator can include a cage and a plug assembly. The cage can include a peripheral wall defining an opening and a plurality of cage apertures formed in the peripheral wall. The plug assembly can include a plug and a sealing element and can be configured to be moveably received within the opening so that the sealing element contacts an inner surface of the cage to vary a flow area through the plurality of cage apertures depending on the position of the plug.

Abstract: Monitoring systems and methods for a relief valve system. In one example, a monitoring system for a relief valve includes at least one tilt sensor coupled to one or more of a cover or a latch of the relief valve. The at least one tilt sensor is associated with an interface. Upon detection by the at least one tilt sensor that one of the cover is open or the latch is unlocked, a signal is transmitted by the interface indicating one or more of the cover is open or the latch is unlocked.

Abstract: A fluid regulator includes a regulator body having a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet connected by a fluid flow path, with a portion of the regulator body forming a first chamber, an orifice disposed in the fluid flow path, a seat, and a control element disposed within the fluid flow path and shiftable between an open position spaced away from the seat and a closed position seated against the seat, with the control element arranged to respond to fluid pressure changes to control flow of a process fluid through the orifice. A diaphragm has a radially inner portion that is operatively coupled to the control element and a radially outer portion that is operatively coupled to the regulator body. The diaphragm includes a resilient redundant diaphragm sandwiched between two metal diaphragms, the diaphragm providing two separate seals.

Abstract: A regulator includes a body, a first cage positioned in the body, a diaphragm positioned within the body, and a second cage operatively connected to the diaphragm. The body has an inlet, an outlet, and a passage formed between the inlet and the outlet and the first cage is positioned adjacent the passage. The second cage moves with the diaphragm and is positionable on a first side of the diaphragm, opposite the first cage, or on a second side of the diaphragm such that the second cage is positioned within the first cage and is movable relative to the first cage.

Abstract: A control line stabilizer includes a body defining an inlet chamber, an outlet chamber, a passageway connecting the inlet chamber and the outlet chamber, a first seat, and a second seat. A disc is disposed in the passageway and is movable between a first closed position, in which the disc engages the first seat, an open position, in which the disc is spaced away from the first seat and the second seat, and a second closed position in which the disc engages the second seat. A first spring is disposed in the outlet chamber and is operatively coupled to the disc. A second spring is disposed in the inlet chamber and is operatively coupled to the disc. The disc restricts fluid flow through the passageway by moving to the first closed position and by moving to the second closed position.
