摘要: A mixer mixes exhaust gas (A) flowing in an exhaust gas-carrying duct of an internal combustion engine with reactant (R) injected into the exhaust gas-carrying duct. The mixer includes a mixer body (26) with a reactant-receiving duct (32) as well as a releasing device (36) with a releasing duct (34). The releasing device adjoins the reactant-receiving duct (32) in a transition area (42) and leads away from the reactant-receiving duct. The releasing device (36) has an asymmetric configuration in relation to a longitudinal axis (LR) of the reactant-receiving duct.

摘要: An exhaust system, especially for an internal combustion engine of a vehicle, includes an exhaust gas-carrying duct (14) and a reactant injection device (20) for injecting reactant (R) into exhaust gas (A) flowing in the exhaust gas-carrying duct (14). Downstream of the reactant injection device (20), a mixer device (22) supports the mixing of reactant (R) injected by the reactant injection device (20) with exhaust gas (A) flowing in the exhaust gas-carrying duct (14). Downstream of the reactant injection device (20) and upstream of the mixer device (22), a reactant heating device (24) extends in the exhaust gas-carrying duct (14). The exhaust gas (A) flows in and reactant (R) injected through the reactant injection device (20) flow around the heating device (24).

The mixer includes a mixing body (22) with a reactant-receiving duct (34), an exhaust gas inlet opening device (54) with a plurality of exhaust gas inlet openings (56) leading to the reactant-receiving duct (34), and at least one releasing duct (40, 42) leading away from the reactant-receiving duct (34) with a releasing duct opening (48, 50) for releasing a reactant/exhaust gas mixture from the mixer body (22). An electrically energizable heater (68) is provided at the mixer body (22).

摘要: A mixer for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine includes a first mixer part (12) with a plate shape body (14) having an incoming upstream flow side (18), with respect to an exhaust gas main flow direction (A) and a downstream outflow side (22), and a second mixer part (24), on an outflow side, with a bottom wall (26) spaced apart from the plate shape body and with two side walls (28, 30), extending from the bottom wall (26) towards the plate shape body and fixed at the first mixer part. The mixer parts define a reactant injection duct (32) receiving reactant in a main injection direction (R). An exhaust gas main passage opening (54) the plate shape body opens towards the reactant injection duct with a plurality of exhaust gas secondary passage openings (78, 80, 82, 84, 86, 88, 90, 92) run past the injection duct.

摘要: A reactant release arrangement for an exhaust gas stream of an internal combustion engine has an exhaust gas guide element (12) with an exhaust gas flow duct (13). A reactant release body (14) extends into the exhaust gas flow duct (13) and has a reactant-receiving volume (20) with a wall inner surface (32) and a wall outer surface (18) of a body wall (16) that is open to the exhaust gas flow duct (13) via at least one passage opening (44, 46). Exhaust gas (G) flowing in the exhaust gas flow duct (13) flows around the reactant release body (14) at a wall outer surface (18) of the body wall (16). A reactant release unit (22) releases reagent (M) into the reactant-receiving volume (20). A heating device (38) is associated with an area of the inner surface (32) of the body wall (16) and heats the reactant release body (14).
