In one aspect of this embodiment, the air duct includes a body positioned adjacent to the air inlet to at least partially define a first opening parallel to a first direction and a second opening at an angle to the first direction. The body of the air inlet duct further defines a first body dimension in the first direction and a second body dimension in a second direction at least substantially perpendicular to the first direction, the first body dimension being greater than the second body dimension.

摘要： Frequency switching systems for changing the frequency of electrical power provided by portable power modules trailerable over public roads and capable of providing at least approximately one megawatt of electrical power. In one embodiment, the portable power module includes a shipping container housing a gaseous fuel motor drivably connected to an electrical generator. The frequency switching system includes a turbocharger operatively connected to the motor and having interchangeable components that allow selecting a first or second turbocharger configuration. The selected turbocharger configuration determines the RPM of the motor, which in turn determines the frequency of the electrical power produced by the generator. In one embodiment, the first turbocharger configuration results in a motor speed of 1500 RPM and a frequency of 50 Hz, and the second turbocharger configuration results in a motor speed of 1800 RPM and a frequency of 60 Hz.

摘要： A monitoring and diagnostics system for a fleet of rental power generation equipment utilizes a plurality of remote processors each operatively engaged with a respective power generation unit. The remote processors each include a plurality of sensors detecting operating data of the respective power generation unit. A managing processor receives the operating data from the plurality of remote processors and processes the operating data via an algorithm to determine a health status of the rental power generation fleet. In one arrangement, the fleet health status is configurable for presentation via the managing processor on a single display. In another arrangement, the managing processor processes the operating data via a predictive failure algorithm to determine the health status of the power generation equipment along with a failure prediction based on the received operating data.

In one embodiment, the portable power module includes a gaseous fuel motor drivably connected to an electrical generator. The motor includes a combustion chamber and a coolant jacket positioned adjacent to the combustion chamber. A radiator is connected in flow communication with the coolant jacket and an exhaust gas silencer is connected in flow communication with the combustion chamber. In one aspect of this embodiment, the portable power module further includes a container in which the motor, the generator, the radiator, and the exhaust gas silencer are installed when the portable power module is in a normal operating configuration. In one embodiment, the container has the dimensions of a standard shipping container, such as a standard 40-foot ISO shipping container.

In one aspect of this embodiment, the containment system includes a containment member having a substantially horizontal portion and a plurality of substantially vertical portions contiguously and sealably attached to the horizontal portion to form a vessel. The containment member is positioned inside the container beneath the motor and the generator and extends at least substantially over the entire bottom portion of the container conforming to the interior dimensions of the container to prevent liquids, such as coolants, lubricants, and water, from leaking out of the container onto adjacent property.
