摘要: According to one aspect the invention, a panoramic imaging arrangement is provided which includes at least a first lens block including a convex reflective surface and a transparent component. The convex reflective surface has a substantially vertically extending axis of revolution and is capable of receiving light from a 360° surrounding panoramic scene, and reflecting the light for further manipulation. The transparent component covers the convex reflective surface. The convex reflective surface is thereby protected from environmental conditions which may otherwise result in damage to the convex reflective surface.

摘要: According to one aspect the invention, a panoramic imaging arrangement is provided which includes at least a first lens block including a convex reflective surface and a transparent component. 摘要: According to one aspect of the invention there is provided a panoramic imaging arrangement comprising lens block and a system of lenses. The lens block has a substantially vertical axis of revolution and is capable of receiving light from a first, 360° surrounding panoramic scene. The system of lenses has a vertical axis of revolution substantially coinciding with the axis of revolution of the lens block and is positioned to receive light from a second scene which is at least partially located above the first, surrounding panoramic scene, and projecting the light from the second scene.

摘要: A swim meter to be worn by a swimmer and indicating swim speed, swim distance, elapsed time and other measurements includes a housing to be worn on the body of a swimmer with a mechanism mounted to the housing and responsive to the flow of water in generating an electrical signal indicative of swimmer movement in the water. A display is mounted to the housing or separately on the swimmer for viewing by the swimmer, and a computer mounted inside the housing generates display drive signals in response to the signals from the drive mechanism. The drive mechanism can comprise a rotating element, such as a paddle wheel, turbine, propeller, or pinwheel, or the drive mechanism can be a pitot tube and pressure sensor, a current generator responsive to salt ions in the water, or a voltage generator. The computer can be responsive to electrical or mechanical signals.

摘要: A step-in binding for telemark ski having safety release mechanism. The binding comprises a mounting plate, a housing, a clamp lever and a step-in lever. Step-in securing is initiated by applying pressure to an step-in lever, which in turn causes a clamp lever to rotate downwardly towards to hold a ski boot in place. A latching means comprising a tooth and a catching post locks the clamp lever in an engaged position to securely hold the ski boot. A safety release mechanism is activated by rotating the housing assembly about an pivot post such that the tooth falls off the catching post, thus allowing the key to be lowered and opening the toe clamp to release the ski boot. The binding is automatically reset to a position for receiving the ski boot after the safety release mechanism is activated.

摘要: A step-in binding for a telemark ski has a safety release mechanism. The binding comprises a mounting plate, a housing, a clamp lever and a step-in lever.
