    摘要: A method and telecommunications node for synchronising the content of a first node database such as for example of a Manager Management Information Base (MIB) with another node's database, such as for example an Agent MIB. The first node sends a synchronization request to the second node indicating the time when the first node was last updated. The second node scans through a list of changes dating from its own last update until the first node's last update, said scan being performed in a last-in-first-out (LIFO) fashion. If an item was found to be deleted, there is no point in scanning further ahead for creation or changes on this item. If an item was created at a given time, there is no point in scanning further ahead for this item. If an item was changed (i.e. one of its attribute was modified), the scanning continues in order to sum all changes on this item. The second node then sends the sum of creations/changes/deletions for any relevant item to the first node, which in turns stores the information along with the time when the second node was last updated.

    摘要: A method and Graphical User Interface (GUI) for viewing and editing attribute values of Managed Objects (MOs) representative of Network Elements (NEs) and NEs components of a managed network that use different versions of Management Object Model (MOM). An administrator selects one or more MOs from a list of MOs and the GUI displays the attribute values for each selected MO based on the MOM version information relative to the NEs that corresponds to the selected MOs. The administrator further edits one or more attribute values of one or more MO, which may include editing a first value of an MO, and then copying it to other MOs. The copied value is adapted to the MOM version used by the target MO(s), and then displayed on the GUI. Finally, the administrator issues a command, and the updated values are translated into commands understandable by the appropriate NEs, which received the commands.

The method allows subscribing with an Event Organizing System (EOS) for updates to a group event instance comprising a group of users and an event related to the group, e.g. a hockey match. The method further allows receiving from users subscriptions to the updates of the group event instance. Responsive to subscribing with the EOS for the updates to the group event instance, the ETS receives from the EOS an update notification related to the group event instance notifying of a group event update (e.g. an update of the group membership and/or of the event), and responsive to the user subscriptions with the ETS, the later sends out an update notification message to each one of the users notifying of the group event update. In one embodiment, the update notifications sent out to users are personalised, e.g. based on the user's location or advertisement preferences.

    摘要: A method, system and cluster of Management Objects (MOs) for creating and maintaining a relationship between one or more MOs and one or more attribute values that are common to the MOs. These attribute values may be contained in one or more configuration templates, and the MOs are grouped in a cluster of MOs sharing the same attribute values, i.e. the same configuration templates. The relationship provided by the cluster between the templates and the MOs allows for a one-time definition of the persistent relationship, which reduces the subsequent edition tasks. The relation between the management objects and templates is first defined by creating the cluster with MOs and templates. Subsequent updates to the templates are propagated to the MOs of the cluster. Likewise, subsequent addition of MOs to the cluster engenders a transfer of attribute values of the cluster's templates to the added MOs.

    摘要: A method and manager node is provided for verifying status information of Managed Objects (MOs) of a management system before propagating an update to a managed network. Subsequent to an attribute change of a given MO in the manager, the manager detects other MOs related to the updated MO, such as neighbour radio cells of a given radio cell. The manager obtains status information relative to each related MO, such as synchronization information, connection information or coupling information. If the status information is adequate for pursuing the update, the manager propagates the update to the managed network. Otherwise, the manager issues a warning to the system administrator, and only propagates the change to the managed network when confirmed by the systems administrator.

    摘要: A method and manager node for setting a synchronization status of a Managed Object (MO) based on an outcome of synchronization between the manager and a related Network Element (NE). An attribute of a management system's first MO that represents a first NE of a managed network is changed in the manager.
