A method, computer product, and system for pushdown analysis during query plan generation is provided. Rather than do pushdown analysis for portions of a query that are query execution plan independent, the present invention provides pushdown analysis for features of a query that are plan dependent. This is done by evaluating a portion of the query plan for pushdownability to a remote database system; and if pushdownable to the remote database system, generating cost parameters for the portion of the plan if executed at a local database system and if executed at the remote database system. With both sets of cost parameters, the query optimizer has added information on which to select an optimal query plan.

A method, computer product, and system for rewriting database without decreasing pushdownability is provided. First, a pushdown analysis of the query in its entirety is performed prior to the application of any query rewrite rules in order to establish a baseline on pushdownability for the query. The results of this analysis is stored with the internal query representation. After each rule is applied to rewrite a portion of a query, that rewritten portion is analyzed again for pushdownability. If pushdownability is not decreased, then the rewritten query remains and the internal representation of the query is updated to reflect the pushdownability of that portion. If pushdownability is decreased, then an undo operation is applied to the rewritten portion of the query to back out the effects of the rule and leave the query in the same state as before the rewrite. Finally, additional rewrite rules that are directed to the heterogeneous database environment are also provided.

The fixing device of the present invention is capable of enhancing the structure and functions to position accurately. Furthermore, the elastic part is capable of decreasing shocks at the fixed position of the fixing device and improving the problem of stress concentration.

A light bar fixing device comprises a light bar defining a through-hole and a heat dissipation mechanism defining a threaded hole corresponding to the through-hole. The light bar fixing device further comprises a helical spring having a pitch identical to that of the threaded hole. A columnar body of the helical spring is adapted to be threaded into the threaded hole, and an outer diameter of a stop end of the helical spring is greater than that of the columnar body. By threading the helical spring into the threaded hole, the light bar can be securely connected to the heat dissipation mechanism with a clearance therebetween being reduced. Also, the light bar can dissipate heat evenly via the heat dissipation mechanism to allow a uniform temperature distribution in the light bar, thus resulting in a desirable light emitting effect and a prolonged service life of the light bar.

The bottom surface is formed with a plurality of mesh points, and a density of the mesh points increases with a distance from a light source. The reflective layer is a sputtered film formed on the bottom surface. A corresponding backlight module is further disclosed. The light guide plate and other components of the backlight module can be pushed into the backplate from a side, so they are easy to be assembled, thus improving the yield of the backlight module.

The present invention provides a backlight module and a lamp installation device thereof. The backlight module comprises a plurality of lamps therein, and two ends of each of the lamps are clamped, positioned and electrically connected to one of the lamp installation devices, respectively. Each of the lamp installation devices comprises: a mounting end, a lamp clamping portion and an elastic conductive plate. The mounting end is used to mount the lamp installation device on the backlight module; the lamp clamping portion has a pair of elastic clamping plates for engaging with one end of the lamp; and the elastic conductive plate is electrically connected to a terminal of the end of the lamp. The manufacture cost of the lamp installation device of the present invention is relatively low and the installation thereof is simple, while the lamp also can provide a better impact resistance.
