Abstract:
A method in which a high-quality packet telephony terminal apparatus performing low-latency and lossless packet communication with a counterpart packet telephony terminal apparatus operates in an integrated network structure in which a time sensitive network (TSN) and a packet communication network are combined may be disclosed. The packet telephony terminal apparatus may perform packet telephony call processing, perform a TSN stream reservation procedure when the counterpart packet telephony terminal apparatus is capable of performing a TSN function for lossless packet communication, adjust a size of a dejitter buffer when the TSN stream reservation procedure is successful, and perform low-latency packet telephony communication through the minimized size of the dejitter buffer.
Abstract:
Provided is an apparatus for supporting a video conference in a client terminal for a video conference system. The apparatus includes: an edition/rendering module configured to receive basic lattice layout screen data containing respective participant images included in a plurality of lattices and respective location information of the plurality of lattices applied to the basic lattice layout screen data; and an input module configured to input edition information, wherein, in response to the edition information input through the input module, the edition/rendering module classifies respective lattice images of the basic lattice layout screen data according to the respective location information, and generates new layout screen data edited with respect to the respective lattice images.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a system and a method for extending a user interface. A system for extending a user interface according to the present invention includes a master configured to generate or manage a session between devices in order to extend the user interface to a peripheral device of a user that includes a user terminal; and an input/output (I/O) device including the user terminal configured to receive a command for controlling a device that is included in the session generated or managed by the master, or to output or execute the command for controlling the device that is transferred through the session. According to the present invention, users of a smart terminal having a limited input/output interface may extend a user interface using widely used information and communication technology (ICT) peripheral devices (a monitor, a printer, a keyboard, a mouse, and the like).
Abstract:
Provided is a method of supporting a videoconference between clients through a plurality of media servers under the control of a management server. The method includes requesting a client change, from a first client connected to a first media server, to a second client to be connected to a second media server; generating a mirror session for the second client according to the request for the client change; and stopping a session for the first client.
Abstract:
An apparatus for canceling an acoustic echo signal caused by a far-end talker signal is provided. The apparatus for canceling an acoustic echo signal includes: a variance estimating unit configured to estimate a variance of a first audio signal of a near-end talker signal and a first noise signal of the near-end talker signal; a step size determining unit configured to determine a step size by using the variance of the first audio signal and the variance of the first noise signal; an adaptive filter coefficient updating unit configured to update an adaptive filter coefficient of an adaptive filter by using the step size; and an acoustic echo canceling unit configured to estimate an acoustic echo signal by using the adaptive filter coefficient, and cancel the acoustic echo signal from a microphone input signal by using the estimated acoustic echo signal.
