    摘要: An identity verification apparatus includes a light source for applying light that can pass through an object to be detected and having a fingerprints to the object to be detected, an image pickup unit for picking up light emitted from the light source and passing through projections of the fingerprint and light emitted from the light source and passing through depressions of the fingerprint, and for generating a fingerprint image including dark portions corresponding to the projections and bright portions corresponding to the depressions, and a signal processing unit for image processing the fingerprint image generated by the image pickup unit to generate fingerprint information, and for verifying an identity based on the fingerprint information.

    摘要: A fingerprint image pickup device includes a light source that emits a light for transmission through a fingertip portion having a fingerprint to be photographed, an image pickup unit that picks up the light from the light source and transmitted through the subject to acquire a fingerprint image in which convex and concave parts of the fingerprint are dark and bright, respectively, and an optical system that images the light transmitted through the fingertip portion on the image pickup unit. The optical system is arranged so that a distal side of the fingertip portion is tilted at a predetermined angle, farther away from the optical system thank an opposite sides with reference to a position at which a ventral side of the fingertip portion contacts a face orthogonal to an optical axis of the optical system.

The light from the light source illuminates a portion other than a nail of the fingertip portion, and the light has a center of illumination on a center line, in a width direction of a face where the nail of the fingertip portions is present, and on a skin side of a border of the nail and skin of the fingertip portion.

    摘要: A hemopoietic stem cell augmenting agent in which at least one type of hepatocyte growth factor is contained as an active component is provided. The hepatocyte growth factor has an augmenting activity on undifferentiated pluripotent hemopoietic stem cells and is useful as a hemopoietic stem cell augmenting agent for treatment of bone marrow suppression and for treatment of bone marrow malfunctions and furthermore is useful for in vitro growth of peripheral blood stem cells and bone marrow stem cells. Furthermore, a hepatocyte growth factor derived from human normal fibroblasts which is considered to be a type of hepatocyte growth factor can be obtained by genetic recombination techniques, and said factor is also useful as a hemopoietic stem cells augmenting agent.
