    摘要: An actuating tool for use with a ZIF socket is integrally formed and uses a rotational operation. It comprises a shaft, a positioning portion, a standoff, a driving portion and a handle. The shaft has two opposite ends and defines a rotational axis. One end thereof forms the handle and the other end thereof forms, sequentially downward, the driving portion, the standoff and the positioning portion. The positioning portion is engaged in a shaft hole defined in a printed circuit board. The driving portion defines a cam for drive a moveable component of the ZIF socket. The handle is paddle-shaped and is adapted to impart a torsional force to the shaft by a rotating operation.

    摘要: A heat sink assembly of the present invention comprises a conductive housing with a heat pipe and a fan fixed therein, and fixing devices. The conductive housing is formed by die-casting and comprises a base, a heat sink portion and a shielding portion which depend downwardly from the square base. The base defines a thorough channel to fix the heat pipe for dissipating heat produced by an electronic element mounted in the shielding portion, two legs of the channel being communication with the space formed by the shielding portion and the heat sink portion respectively. The shielding portion is integral with the heat sink portion and defines a peripheral side wall to form a sealed square-shaped space together with the base to provide EMI shielding for the electronic element. A hole is defined in each of the four corners of the peripheral side wall of the shielding portion to engage with the fixing devices.

    摘要: A memory module assembly comprises a memory card having a circuit board and a number of electronic components mounted on the circuit board, a pair of shells attached on opposite surfaces of the circuit board and a pair of clips securing the card and the shells together. The circuit board forms a grounding pad around three edges thereof. Correspondingly, each shell has an electrically conductive area contacting the grounding pad of the circuit board for preventing electromagnetic interference. The circuit board forms a number of openings, and each shell have a number of projections and apertures corresponding to the openings of the circuit board. The shells are positioned on the card with the projections of one shell received in the openings of the circuit board and apertures of the other shell. The clips secure the card and the shells together.

    摘要: A dynamic load balancing system is described that determines the load of resources in a hosted environment dynamically by monitoring the usage of resources by each customer and determines the number of customers hosted by a server based on the actual resources used. The system receives a performance threshold that indicates when a server is too heavily loaded and monitors the resource usage by each customer. When the load of an overloaded server in the hosted environment exceeds the received performance threshold, the system selects a source customer currently hosted by the overloaded server to move to another server.
