    摘要: A balance bar for a straight tube Coriolis flowmeter. The balance bar is preferably manufactured by process that provides an increased number of flowmeter elements integral to the balance bar. These integral elements comprise: brace bars at each end of the balance bar, rib elements on each side of the balance bar to raise the horizontal vibration frequency, a surface to facilitate the mounting of a driver to the balance bar and to a flow tube surrounded by the balance bar, surfaces to facilitate the mounting of sensors to the balance bar and flow tube, voids that lower the resonant frequency of the balance bar in a drive plane, and a cavity that makes the vibration amplitude of the balance bar less than that of the flow tube. These elements lower the resonant frequency of the balance bar to make the flowmeter calibration factor independent of density. The balance bar is ideally made by a casting process. The balance bar may also be fabricated by other processes including machining.

    摘要: Method and apparatus defining bi-metallic process connections for a Coriolis flowmeter that are metallurgically bonded to form a sealed structure without the use of an O-ring or other elastomeric seal. The process connections comprise a first metal metallurgically bonded to a dissimilar metal to form a sealed process connection. The bond between the first metal and the dissimilar metal is outside the process material pathway so that the process connections in conjunction with the flowmeter form a flow path enclosed by a single metal.

    摘要: Meter electronics for geometric thermal compensation in a flow meter is provided according to the invention. The meter electronics includes an interface configured to receive sensor signals and a temperature signal (T) of the flow meter. The meter electronics further includes a processing system coupled with the interface and configured to receive the sensor signals and the temperature signal (T) and compute a geometric thermal compensation factor (TFe) for one or more flow conduits of the flow meter using the temperature signal (T). The geometric thermal compensation factor (TFe) is used to process the first and second sensor signals.

A feedthrough connector of the present invention is made of explosion proof material and is fabricated to fit securely in an opening of the explosion proof compartment. A terminal housing on the exterior surface of the feedthrough connector has partitions separating the terminals to prevent a spark from being created due to adjacent ones of said terminal contacting each other.
