摘要： The present invention provides a fluorine-containing copolymer which comprises the following monomers as essential components:(a) a fluoroolefin,(b) a hydroxyalkyl crotonate, and(c) a vinyl monomer other than the above monomers (a) and (b). The present invention further provides a coating composition comprising the above fluorine-containing copolymer and a crosslinking agent having a functional group which reacts with hydroxyl group.

摘要： An aqueous fluororesin coating composition and a process for producing the same, the coating composition comprising a core/shell fluorine-containing copolymer dispersed in an aqueous medium, the core/shell fluorine-containing copolymer comprising a core comprising a fluorine-containing copolymer comprising a repeating unit derived from a fluoroolefin monomer and a repeating unit derived from a vinyl carboxylate monomer and having a glass transition point Tg of 40.degree. C. or more, and a shell comprising a fluorine-containing copolymer comprising a repeating unit derived from a fluoroolefin monomer and a repeating unit derived from a vinyl carboxylate monomer and having a glass transition point Tg of from -10 to 30.degree. C., the weight ratio of the core to the shell being from 20/1 to 1/2.

摘要： A paint composition is provided, which comprises a copolymer comprising the following constitutional units (A), (B), and (C) as essential components: (A) a (meth)acrylate monomer unit having a straight-chain, branched-chain, or cyclic alkyl group; (B) at least one monomer unit selected from the group consisting of a monomer unit having an unsaturated double bond and a hydroxyalkyl group, a monomer unit having an unsaturated double bond and an epoxy group, and a monomer unit having an unsaturated double bond and an alkoxysilyl group; and (C) a monomer unit having an unsaturated double bond and a maleimide group. The paint composition is excellent in weatherability and coating gloss. The composition may be contained in an organic solvent such as cyclic ethers, aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, and ketones. The organic solvent may be one that comprises 40% or more of a saturated hydrocarbon. In this case, it is preferred that a (meth)acrylic ester monomer having an alkyl group of 8 to 20 carbon atoms accounts for 5 to 50% by weight of the total amount of the constitutional units of the copolymer.

摘要： A cold-setting coating composition comprising: a fulorocopolymer comprising (a) a fluoroolefin monomer unit, (b) a (meth)acrylic ester monomer unit, (c) an organosilicon monomer unit represented by a specific formula, (d) other radically polymerizable monomer unit, proportions of said units (a), (b), (c) and (d) being 5 to 70 mole %, 20 to 80 mole %, 1 to 20 mole % and 0 to 30 mole %, respectively, based on the total mole of the units (a), (b), (c) and (d), and the fluoropolymer having a glass transition (Tg) of 15 to 60.degree. C. a curing catalyst; and an organic solvent. The cold-setting coating composition has excellent weather resistance and stain resistance.
