    摘要: A feedthrough for feeding a microwave signal through a wall of a casing comprises a signal waveguide having at least two portions having different cross-sections. The portion having the smaller cross-section is filled with plastically-deformable dielectric material which, under the action of pressure and heat, is bonded to the walls of the portion in which it is located. The dimensions of the portion are such as to provide an impedance match with the adjacent portions. An antenna couples electromagnetic energy between the waveguide and a strip transmission line. A metal cap seals the end of the waveguide and screens the antenna.

    摘要: An arrangement for frequency-selective suppression of high frequency signals is described, with a hollow chamber (11) including at least partially electrically conductive walls (6, 7) and having radiator elements (4, 5), embodied by stripline technology, for coupling the high frequency signals into and out of the hollow chamber (11). At least two radiator elements are present, of which at least one is intended for coupling in the high frequency signals and at least one other is intended for outcoupling them. The at least two radiator elements (4, 5) are embodied on separate substrate faces (2, 3). The separate substrate faces (2, 3) are disposed on a common substrate plate (1), and the hollow chamber is formed by a hood (6), which is disposed on or above the substrate plate (1) in such a way that it covers the radiator elements (4, 5). It is especially advantageous if the hood (6) is integrated with the housing wall (10) of a shielding housing.

    摘要: A circulator comprises a housing in two halves with a ferrite and associated magnet in a central portion of a first one of the halves, the second housing-half above the ferrite having a membrane which is deformable by operation of an adjuster upon the membrane, so as to adjust the size of an airgap between the membrane and the ferrite. The membrane is preferably the residual portion of the second housing-half following a milling operation to provide a recess, the recess accommodating the adjuster in the form of, e.g., a screw. To further enhance predictability of the performance characteristics of the circulator, the ferrite is seated in a hollow formed in the first housing-half and the securing of the ferrite to the first housing-half is by way of an adhesive applied between a lateral face of the ferrite and a corresponding lateral face of the hollow.
