    摘要: A machine tool includes: a spindle that allows a tool to be detachably mounted thereon; a tool changing device that holds a plurality of the tools, and attaches and detaches any of the tools to and from the spindle; a date and time storage unit that stores date and time when operation of the spindle is stopped last; and a calculation unit that calculates unused time of the spindle on the basis of the date and time stored in the date and time storage unit, when the tool is to be detached from the spindle, wherein in a case where the unused time calculated by the calculation unit is longer than a predetermined threshold value, the tool changing device performs detaching motion of the tool from the spindle for longer time compared to a case where the calculated unused time is at or less than the threshold value.

    摘要: In a temperature estimation method, a rotational speed of a spindle is acquired. Moreover, a temperature rise table and a temperature fall table are used to calculate a temperature of a bearing from the rotational speed of the spindle every time a fixed time elapses. The temperature rise table stores in an associated manner the rotational speed of the spindle and a temperature rise of the bearing due to rotation of the spindle in a predetermined fixed time. The temperature fall table stores in an associated manner the temperature of the bearing and a temperature fall of the bearing due to heat dissipation in the fixed time.

    摘要: A machine tool includes a motor configured to rotate a spindle, a tool magazine holding a plurality of tools, and a controller. The controller has a storage unit storing motor information indicating that the motor is a synchronous motor. When the machine tool stops, while a tool exchange process is carried out, due to electric power outage, operation of a stop button, a value of a drive current of the motor, or a value output from the sensor, the controller uses a command for the synchronous motor, based on the motor information, as a part of a series of commands for recovery of the machine tool, where the tool exchange process is a process in which a tool attached to the spindle is changed with one of the plurality of tools of the tool magazine.
