摘要: A laser radar projection system is provided. The system includes a laser projector that projects a light beam. A beam splitter is arranged to receive the light beam from the projector and divides the light beam into a signal light beam and a reference light beam. A steering system changes the direction of the signal light beam and scans the light beam over at least a portion of the surface. An optical signal detector is arranged to receive a feedback light beam and the reference light beam. The optical signal detector generates a feedback signal in response to the feedback light beam and a reference signal in response to the reference light beam. One or more processors determine the distance to one or more points on the at least a portion of the surface based at least in part on the feedback signal and the reference signal.

摘要: A laser projection system is provided. The laser projection system includes at least one laser projector having a laser source and a laser detector. The system includes processors for executing computer instructions, the processors are coupled to the laser projector, the computer readable instructions include determining the component is stationary based on the emitting of a first laser light towards a reference target on the component and receiving a portion of the first laser light by the laser detector. In response to the determining the component is stationary: determining a transformation for mapping a first coordinate system of the laser projector to a second coordinate system of the component and forming a visual pattern on the component. The computer instructions further include determining that the component is in motion based on receiving a portion of the first laser light by the laser detector and removing the visual pattern.

The light projector may generate a light pattern or template by rapidly moving the outgoing beam of light along a path on a surface. To place the light pattern/template in a desired location, the light projector may be aligned with an electronic model.
