    Abstract: Provided are a washing device and a washing method that achieve prevention of development scum adhesion, development uniformity, and development speed at the same time. This washing device performs development using a washing solution while transporting the flexographic printing plate precursor after imagewise exposure. The washing device includes a transport unit that transports the flexographic printing plate precursor along a predetermined transport path and a development unit that performs development on the flexographic printing plate precursor. The development unit includes a brush which is used for the development and a driving unit which controls rotation of the brush around a rotation axis and movement of the brush. The brush removes an unexposed portion of the flexographic printing plate precursor to perform the development, and the rotation axis of the brush is a fixed axis passing through one point in the brush. The driving unit rotates the brush in a state in which the rotation axis of the brush passes through a surface of the flexographic printing plate precursor, and moves the rotation axis of the brush in at least one direction intersecting the rotation axis.

    Abstract: Provided are a planographic printing plate precursor and a method of producing a planographic printing plate precursor, in which an image forming region during printing on newspaper page is ensured and edge stains are eliminated. Provided are a planographic printing plate precursor (10b) including an aluminum support (12) which has an anodized film (14), and an image recording layer (16) on the aluminum support (12), in which an end portion of the planographic printing plate precursor (10b) has a sagging shape having a sagging amount (X) of 25 μm to 150 μm and a sagging width (Y) of 70 μm to 300 μm, the image recording layer (16) contains an infrared absorbing agent, and a part or an entire side surface of two sides of the aluminum support (12), the two sides having the sagging shape and opposing each other contains an ink repellent agent (44); and a method of producing the planographic printing plate precursor (10b).

    Abstract: There are provided a washout processor and a washing method that prevent solid contents from being attached to a developed flexographic printing plate precursor again. A washout processor that develops an imagewise exposed flexographic printing plate precursor using a washing solution includes a developing tank that is filled with the washing solution, a development unit that performs the development by removing a non-exposed portion of the flexographic printing plate precursor using the washing solution in the developing tank, and a flow creation unit that flows the washing solution in at least one region of a first region where the flexographic printing plate precursor is carried into the washing solution of the developing tank or a second region where the flexographic printing plate precursor is carried out from the washing solution of the developing tank, in an intersecting direction to cross a width of the flexographic printing plate precursor with respect to a traveling direction of the flexographic printing plate precursor.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a die coater which can improve a distribution of film thickness in the width direction of a coating, and can reduce the length of an end part of the coating, and a method for producing a coated film.
