摘要： A roll-to-roll manufacturing machine suitable for processing and producing polymer films that contain nanostructures, including but not limited to multifunctional polymer films. The machine applies a liquid polymer on a substrate to form a liquid polymer film, at least partially embeds nanostructures into the liquid polymer film, melt casts a layer of a molten polymer on the liquid polymer film to produce a thin polymer film, organizes the nanostructures in a thickness direction of the thin polymer film comprising applying an electric field to the thin polymer film, aligns the nanostructures in the thin polymer film by simultaneously subjecting the thin polymer film to heat and a field that aligns the nanostructures, and solidifies the thin polymer film to freeze the nanostructures along nanocolumns in a thickness direction of a solidified polymer film resulting therefrom.

摘要： The present invention further provides for a nozzle, preferably of injection molded plastic material, and with an inlet designed to attach to common commercially available cartridges with male Luer threads located exterior of the nozzle. In addition, the present invention provides for a nozzle molded into a V-shape configuring the inside of a pre-creased garment or a piece of fabric when the garment is placed on the form for application of the resin. The nozzle has a locator flange that is included to ensure that there is correct alignment between the nozzle and guide skee. The nozzle is specifically angled when attached to the cartridge and the guide skee so that an optimum angle is achieved for the correct application of the resin. The molded plastic nozzle of the present invention has a smooth outer surface and strengthening ribs. The inside of the nozzle has a Ventura shape to accelerate the resin when it is being applied and the slit can be molded into different widths to correspond to the amount of resin required for different weight fabrics.

The nozzle assembly includes a guide slot for receiving a strand of material. The nozzle assembly further includes an orifice, spaced from the guide slot, configured to discharge a first fluid to onto the strand, and at least one outlet, adjacent to the orifice, for discharging a second fluid to act on the first fluid. The method includes positioning the strand at the closed end of the guide slot so that the strand is spaced a predetermined distance from the orifice, feeding the strand through the guide slot at a predetermined speed, applying the first fluid onto the strand from the orifice and discharging the second fluid from the at least one outlet.

摘要： An electrode production system is configured so that a metal foil is folded back a plurality of times and conveyed by a plurality of rollers that are disposed for a coating device, a drying device and a pressing device. A coating process, a drying process and a pressing process are serially performed by the coating device, the drying device and the pressing device, respectively, by using the rollers. This makes it possible to unwind the rolled metal foil and convey the metal foil in the up-and-down direction. The coating device, the drying device and the pressing device can be integrated and thus the size of the electrode production system can be reduced. Furthermore, since a small-size electrode production system can be configured, it is easy to install the electrode production system in a clean and dry environment.
