Abstract: A method may include detecting multiple system-information block (SIB) blocks and associated content. The associated content may be stored. The method may further include detecting multiple change flags associated with the multiple SIB blocks, each of the multiple change flags associated with one of the multiple SIB blocks. In response to detecting a change flag having a first change flag value, content of the SIB block associated with the first change flag may be reused. The first change flag value may represent an absence of a change to the content of the SIB block associated with the first change flag. In response to detecting the change flag having a second change flag value, the SIB block associated with the second change flag may be detected and the associated content stored. The second change flag value may represent a change to the content of the associated SIB blocks.

Abstract: A wireless base station, includes: a wireless transceiver configured to transmit to a wireless terminal a downlink frame including a downlink control information, the wireless downlink control information includes information representing a specified offset, wherein the wireless transceiver is further configured to receive an uplink frame from the wireless terminal; and a processor circuit coupled to the wireless transceiver and configured to determine uplink control information from the uplink frame, the uplink control information being offset by at least the specified offset from a location in the uplink frame that is the same as a location where the downlink control information was located in the downlink frame.

Abstract: A method is provided for managing a wireless network traffic by comprising designating a first resource block of a first base station for access by a random access channel (RACH). The method additionally comprises designating a first plurality of random access subframes associated with the first resource block for access by a user-over-control plane message, and receiving a random access signal at the first base station over a subframe from an endpoint. The random access signal is received on the RACH using a wireless network and is attempting to access one of the first plurality of designated random access subframes. Further, the method comprises determining if the random access signal is a user-over-control plane message, and processing the random access signal on the one of the first plurality of designated random access subframes.

Abstract: A method includes obtaining a first packet at a first wireless device from a second wireless device. The second wireless device may be a neighboring wireless device of the first wireless device. The method may also include transmitting a second packet to a third wireless device that is a neighboring wireless device of the first wireless device. The method may also include obtaining a third packet from the third wireless device in response to transmitting the second packet to the third wireless device and obtaining a fourth packet from the third wireless device in response to the third wireless device receiving a fifth packet from a fourth wireless device that is not one of the multiple neighboring wireless devices of the first wireless device. The fourth packet may indicate reserved radio resources for future packet transmissions from the first wireless device to the third wireless device.
