Abstract:
A base station system includes: a plurality of antenna units each of which includes an antenna and is configured to be coupled to the plurality of antenna units via a communication channel; and a control circuit configured to be connected to at least one of the plurality of antenna units via a communication line, the control circuit being configured to perform radio communication using any of the plurality of antenna units via the connected antenna unit.
Abstract:
A wireless transmission method capable of transmitting a data stream between a wireless transmitter having a plurality of transmitting antennas and a wireless receiver, the wireless transmission method includes controlling to increase the number of transmission beams to be formed for transmitting said data stream depending on the number of data streams to be transmitted from said transmitting antennas becoming small, and receiving any one or more transmission beam from said transmission beams by said wireless receiver, wherein said transmission beams are formed by predetermined number of the plurality of transmitting antennas.
Abstract:
A phase shift amount adjustment device includes a memory and a processor to obtain reception power at a reception device that receives first and second signals from a transmission device that has first and second antennas to transmit the first and second signals whose phase shift amounts are adjusted by first and second phase shifters, respectively; store, in the memory, table data representing characteristics of amplitudes of the first and second signals with respect to change in the phase shift amounts of the phase shifters, respectively; calculate a squared value of a sum of first and second amplitudes of the first and second signals in first and second phase shift amounts of the phase shifters obtained from the table data; and adjust the first and second phase shift amounts so as to maximize an evaluation value obtained by dividing the reception power divided by the squared value.
Abstract:
An interface accesses a server for managing usage of a plurality of frequency resources allocated to a first wireless system and acquires information indicating the usage. Based on the acquired information, a control unit selects, amongst the frequency resources, a frequency resource to be used by a second wireless system. The control unit determines whether, after the information is acquired at a first time point, reacquisition of the information at a second time point is successful, which second time point is scheduled to reacquire the information from the server. If the reacquisition is unsuccessful, the control unit allows a frequency resource for the second wireless system to be selected based on the information acquired at the first time point even from the second time point onward.
Abstract:
A communication control method, for causing a wireless communication device including an antenna array including a plurality of antenna elements to execute a process, includes: executing a first process that includes dividing the plurality of antenna elements into a plurality of element blocks, each of the plurality of element blocks including two or more antenna elements; executing a second process that includes forming a broad beam by steering beams that are formed by first and second element blocks of the plurality of element blocks the beam formed by the first element block being orthogonalized with the beam formed by the second element block; and executing a third process that includes orthogonalizing a first signal to be transmitted by the first element block and a second signal to be transmitted by the second element block.
Abstract:
A wireless transmitter capable of transmitting a data stream to a wireless receiver, the wireless transmitter includes a plurality of transmitting antennas; and a scheduler controls to increase the number of candidate beams selectable for transmitting said data stream depending on the number of data streams to be transmitted from said transmitting antennas becoming small, wherein said beams are formed by predetermined number of the plurality of transmitting antennas.
