摘要: A method performed by an apparatus is provided. The apparatus extracts a virtual machine before starting operation from among virtual machines within a range of influence of a failure upon detection of the failure. With reference to a storage unit storing history information concerning operation of a virtual machine, the apparatus generates first information corresponding to time intervals of operation start time of the extracted virtual machine, second information corresponding to movement required time required to move the extracted virtual machine out of the range of influence of the failure, and third information corresponding to recovery required time required for recovery of the failure detected to have occurred. The apparatus determines whether to move the extracted virtual machine out of the range of influence of the failure, based on the generated first, second, and third information.

摘要: A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing therein a failure analysis program that causes a computer to execute a process includes: extracting, for respective incidents, first material names that satisfy a first condition from character strings included in each incident; extracting, for the respective incidents, second material names, which are the same material names as the first material names, from the character strings included in each incident; calculating a combination of feature values corresponding respectively to the one or more features from character strings correlated with the extracted second material names, for the respective incidents and for the respective second material names; and specifying a specific combination that satisfies a second condition from the combinations of feature values corresponding to the respective material names, for the respective second material names.

摘要: An execution-flow-creation aiding apparatus obtains a written operation procedure that represents an operation procedure of a series of tasks involved in operation work. The execution-flow-creation aiding apparatus refers to component information and based on a result of comparing the task name of a task included among the series of tasks involved in operation work and the component name of a component, associates the task and the component. The execution-flow-creation aiding apparatus selects among the series of tasks, a second task that is not associated with a component and that is immediately before or after a first task associated with a given component. The execution-flow-creation aiding apparatus refers to the component information and based on a result of comparing the task name of the selected second task and the variable name of a variable provided when the given component is executed, associates the second task with the given component.

摘要: An apparatus includes a memory configured to store configuration information related to a physical machine and a virtual machine that operates on the physical machine, and temporal information indicating a time turnaround for migration of the virtual machine from the physical machine to another physical machine. Upon acquisition of data indicating a duration of a maintenance execution related to a physical machine, the apparatus produces, based on the configuration information and the temporal information stored in the memory, a constraint condition for the virtual machine that operates on the physical machine, where the constraint condition is used to determine a schedule of the migration. The apparatus produces schedule information of the migration, based on the constraint condition and the duration of the maintenance execution, and outputs the schedule information to a device used by a user of the virtual machine.
