摘要: An apparatus obtains, from a first device, an identifier of a higher-order service for which occurrence of an abnormality or a possibility of being affected by an abnormality has been detected, where the first device searches for a range of effects of failure within a higher-order service layer that provides a higher-order service using a service provided in an object-service layer within a cloud service providing a layered structure of services. The apparatus determines a service within the object-service layer, which is reachable by tracing relations among services from the detected higher-order service, to be an in-effect-range service for which there is a possibility of being affected by an abnormality, and transmits the identifier of the in-effect-range service to a second device that searches for a range of effects of failure at a lower-order service layer that provides a lower-order service used to provide a service within the object-service layer.

摘要: A method performed by an apparatus is provided. The apparatus extracts a virtual machine before starting operation from among virtual machines within a range of influence of a failure upon detection of the failure. With reference to a storage unit storing history information concerning operation of a virtual machine, the apparatus generates first information corresponding to time intervals of operation start time of the extracted virtual machine, second information corresponding to movement required time required to move the extracted virtual machine out of the range of influence of the failure, and third information corresponding to recovery required time required for recovery of the failure detected to have occurred. The apparatus determines whether to move the extracted virtual machine out of the range of influence of the failure, based on the generated first, second, and third information.

摘要: An apparatus includes a memory configured to store configuration information related to a physical machine and a virtual machine that operates on the physical machine, and temporal information indicating a time turnaround for migration of the virtual machine from the physical machine to another physical machine. Upon acquisition of data indicating a duration of a maintenance execution related to a physical machine, the apparatus produces, based on the configuration information and the temporal information stored in the memory, a constraint condition for the virtual machine that operates on the physical machine, where the constraint condition is used to determine a schedule of the migration. The apparatus produces schedule information of the migration, based on the constraint condition and the duration of the maintenance execution, and outputs the schedule information to a device used by a user of the virtual machine.
