The textile support structure includes an extensible, aerated, finely knitted or woven support structure having, at least on its inner face, a thin coating having immediate and high adhesive properties. The coating has a degree of softness to conform to microreliefs of the wearer's skin, and an elastic modulus at least as low as that of the substrate against which it is in contact to match the microreliefs thereof.

The input (38) is entirely separated from an external medium by a film which is made of a liquid-tight and gas-permeable hydrophobic material and whose face opposite to the input (38) is directly accessible for the body fluids. The liquid-tight and gas-permeable hydrophobic material (32) contains a laminated non-woven matter and a polypropylene membrane. The filter is suitable for pockets collecting body fluids.

The present invention relates to a method for assigning states to stitches of a fabric, wherein the state can vary between a first and a second state, that comprising the steps of allocating a part of the fabric, randomly assigning a state to each stitch of the allocated part of the fabric, evaluating the ratio between the number of stitches in the first state and the number of stitches in the second state, checking if the ratio lies within a predefined range of values, and restarting at step b) if the ratio lies outside the predefined range. The method may be used for manufacturing a medical compression garment.
