    摘要: A condensate pan for an evaporator assembly comprises a first pan member, a second pan member, and a third pan member. The first pan member has an outer wall and an inner wall, wherein a secondary channel is disposed along the outer wall. The second pan member also has an outer wall and an inner wall, wherein another secondary channel is disposed along the outer wall. The third pan member is coupled to the first and second pan members. The secondary channels of the first and second pan members are connected to a drain channel disposed along a front side of the third pan member.

The condensate pan insert comprises a cover member, a snap member, a first wing member, and a second wing member. The snap member is coupled to the cover member and configured to engage with the condensate pan. The first wing member is insertable between a first surface of the condensate pan and a bottom of a first evaporator coil slab. The second wing member is insertable between a second surface of the condensate pan and a bottom of a second evaporator coil slab.

    摘要: An inlet header (22) of a microchannel heat pump heat exchanger has a tube (34) disposed therein and extending substantially the length of the inlet header (22), with the tube (34) having a plurality of openings (36) therein. During cooling mode operation, refrigerant is caused to flow into an open end of the tube (34) and along its length to thereby flow from the plurality of openings (36) into the inlet header (22) prior to entering the microchannels (24) to thereby provide a uniform flow of two-phase refrigerant thereto. A bi-flow expansion device (41) placed at the inlet end of the tube (34) allows for the expansion of liquid refrigerant into the tube (34) during periods in which the heat exchanger operates as an evaporator and allows the refrigerant to flow directly from the header (22) and around the tube (34) during periods in which the heat exchanger operates as a condenser coil.

    摘要: A single bracket serves to both attach a TXV bulb to an outer surface of an outlet header and to place a securely hold the distribution assembly in a fixed position with respect to the TXV bulb. A pair of clam shell clamping members on opposite ends of a central member are put in position and clamped to hold the TXV bulb tightly in place against the outlet header and to clamp around the equalizer of the distributor assembly, thereby resulting in a rigid interconnection which maintains the desired positions for each of the components.
