    摘要: Pointing and interaction control devices for large scale tabletop models are provided herein. An example method includes determining a frame of reference for a first display, where the first display provides a multi-dimensional representation. The method includes determining a location and a direction of a laser beam emitted by a mobile device having a laser pointing apparatus using motion signals obtained from the mobile device, and the frame of reference. The first display can include a two-dimensional display surface and a physical three-dimensional representation placed onto the two-dimensional display surface. The method can include determining an intersection of a laser beam of the laser pointing apparatus with either the physical three-dimensional representation or the two-dimensional display surface based on the location and the direction of the mobile device relative to the frame of reference.

    摘要: The disclosure generally pertains to systems and methods to classify a road based on a level of support offered by the road for autonomous driving operations. An example method may involve a computer receiving sensor data from a vehicle, the sensor data containing information about a current functional condition of a road. The computer may predict a future functional condition of the road by using a deterioration model to evaluate the sensor data. The computer may then determine a level of support offered by the road for autonomous driving operations based on the future functional condition of the road, and assign a classification to the road based on the level of support offered by the road for autonomous driving operations. The level of support offered by the road for autonomous driving operations may also be based on items such as road markings, traffic signs, traffic signals, and/or infrastructure elements.

    摘要: Exemplary embodiments described in this disclosure generally pertain to systems and methods to handle packages transported in a delivery vehicle. In an example embodiment, a computer that is provided in a vehicle receives a command related to delivery of a package. The command may be associated, for example, with rerouting of the vehicle due to various reasons such as, for example, due to a change in a delivery schedule and/or a delivery priority. The computer may respond to the command by operating an unmanned package moving apparatus to move the package from one location in a cargo area of the vehicle to another location in the cargo area while the vehicle is in motion and prior to the vehicle reaching a delivery destination for the package. In an example implementation, the unmanned package moving apparatus includes a bed of rollers that are operated by servomotors under control of the computer.
