摘要： Hydration of clays and shales may be inhibited during drilling operations by using a clay and shale inhibitor. The inhibitor may be used with a water based drilling fluid. The clay and shale inhibitor includes from 0.2 to 5 % by weight of a reaction product of an epoxy resin with at least one primary or secondary aliphatic or cycloaliphatic amine.
