    摘要: A blast heating apparatus includes an inner metal shell having therein a refractory lining. An outer metal shell surrounds at least a portion of the inner metal shell and defines therewith a double shell structure. Spacers are positioned between the outer and inner metal shells to define therebetween a gap. At least a portion of such gap is filled with a pourable dry material having a grain size of up to 8 mm and a heat conductivity of at least approximately 1.5 W/Km.

    摘要: A hot blast stove installation for heating cold blast to form hot blast includes a plurality of hot blast stoves each alternately operable during a heating phase and a blowing phase, a cold blast main for supplying cold blast to respective of the stoves during the blowing phases thereof, and combustion air and fuel gas mains for supplying combustion air and fuel gas to respective of the stoves during the heating phases thereof. The cold blast in the cold blast main has a relatively high temperature compared to ambient temperature, for example a temperature of from 100.degree. C. to 300.degree. C. A heat exchanger is connected to the cold blast main to remove heat from the cold blast therein prior to the supply of the cold blast to the stoves, thereby reducing the men and/or maximum waste gas temperature in the stoves during the heating phase of operation thereof.

    摘要: A device for regulating the temperature of a gas in a hot gas main for feeding hot gas to a blast furnace includes a mixing pot with two mixing chambers in fluid communication with each other by means of a Venturi restriction. The first mixing chamber includes three inlet ports for feeding hot gas into the first mixing chamber, feeding cold gas into the first mixing chamber and feeding cold gas into the second mixing chamber, respectively. The first mixing chamber further includes an outlet port for feeding a first stream of mixed gas from the first mixing chamber to a first gas distribution system. The second mixing chamber includes a second outlet port for feeding a second stream of mixed gas from the second mixing chamber to a second gas distribution system. The first and second streams of mixed gas have different temperatures.

    摘要: The present invention proposes a device (10) for regulating the temperature of a gas in a hot gas main for feeding hot gas to a blast furnace. Such a device (10) comprises a mixing pot (14) with a first mixing chamber (16) and a second mixing chamber (18), the first and second mixing chambers (16, 18) being in fluid communication with each other by means of a Venturi-type restriction (20). The first mixing chamber (16) is provided with a first inlet port (22) for feeding hot gas into the first mixing chamber (16), a second inlet port (26) for feeding cold gas into the first mixing chamber (16) and a third inlet port (56) for feeding cold gas into the second mixing chamber (18). The first mixing chamber (16) is further provided with a first outlet port (42) for feeding a first stream of mixed gas from the first mixing chamber (16) to a first gas distribution system (46), while the second mixing chamber (18) is provided with a second outlet port (60) for feeding a second stream of mixed gas from the second mixing chamber (18) to a second gas distribution system (64).
