Abstract:
An impermeable and thermally insulated tank built into a load-bearing structure, the tank wall comprising: a thermally insulated barrier attached, to a load-bearing wall and made of insulating blocks, juxtaposed in parallel rows separated from one another, by gaps, an impermeable barrier supported by the thermally insulated barrier and made of welded metal sheets. Each insulating block carries, on the face of same opposite the load-bearing wall, two metal connecting strips arranged in parallel to the sides of the insulating block. The sheets of the membrane carried by the insulating block are welded to the strips. The connecting strips are rigidly connected to the insulating block carrying same. The sheets each have at least two orthogonal folds parallel to the sides of the insulating blocks, the folds being inserted into the gaps formed between two insulating blocks.
Abstract:
A sealed and thermally insulating storage tank for a fluid that is anchored in a load-bearing structure built into a ship, the ship having a longitudinal direction, the tank having a loading/unloading tower suspended from a ceiling wall of the load-bearing structure, the loading/unloading tower including first, second and third vertical pylons defining a prism of triangular section, the loading/unloading tower carrying at least a first pump, the tank having a support foot that is fastened to the load-bearing structure, the tank having at least one sump, the first pump being arranged outside the triangular prism and being aligned with the support foot in a first transverse plane that is orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the ship.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a sealed and thermally insulating vessel for storing a fluid, comprising a secondary thermal insulation barrier and a secondary sealing membrane, the secondary sealing membrane comprising a plurality of corrugated metal sheets sealingly welded to each other and each comprising at least two perpendicular corrugations, the secondary thermal insulation barrier comprising a plurality of juxtaposed insulating panels, each insulating panel having an inner face, opposite the bearing wall, provided with metal plates to which the corrugated metal sheets are welded, each insulating panel being associated with the adjacent insulating panels via a plurality of bridging elements.
