摘要: An integrally-transportable purge container capable of preventing entry of air when a submersible pump is carried into a pump column, and capable of warming the submersible pump when it is removed from the pump column to prevent components of the air from being liquefied is provided. The integrally-transportable purge container includes: a container body having an interior space for accommodating a submersible pump therein; an upper lid configured to cover an upper opening of the container body; a lower lid configured to cover a lower opening of the container body; and a purge-gas inlet port and a purge-gas outlet port communicating with the interior space of the container body. The integrally-transportable purge container is detachably coupled to an upper portion of a pump column in which the submersible pump is to be installed. The integrally-transportable purge container is configured to be transportable together with the submersible pump.

摘要: The invention relates to a tracing method (2000) for constructing a liquefied gas storage facility (1). The facility (1) comprises a sealed and thermally-insulating tank (20). A bottom wall (21) of the tank (20) includes a plurality of angular sectors (25) which are images of each other through rotation by a predetermined angle about a vertical axis, the predetermined angle being equal to k.360°/N, where k is a positive integer. A vertical wall (22) of the tank (20) comprises a vertical row (120) of planar insulating wall modules (131, 131A) disposed on each vertical load-bearing section (14) of a load-bearing structure of the tank. The tracing method ensures that an azimuthal angular deviation with respect to said vertical axis between two rows (120) of planar insulating wall modules (131, 131A, 171) disposed on two adjacent vertical load-bearing sections (14) is equal to 360°/N, preferably with an accuracy better than 5 mm.

calculating a probability of damage to the tanks (10) during the course of said transfer scenario, as a function of successive filling levels of the tanks during the transfer period,
if the probability of damage to the tanks satisfies an acceptance criterion, transferring (13) the liquid between the tanks in accordance with said transfer scenario.-

摘要: A compressed gas energy storage system may include an accumulator for containing a layer of compressed gas atop a layer of liquid. A gas conduit may have an upper end in communication with a gas compressor/expander subsystem and a lower end in communication with accumulator interior for conveying compressed gas into the compressed gas layer of the accumulator when in use. A shaft may have an interior for containing a quantity of a liquid and may be fluidly connectable to a liquid source/sink via a liquid supply conduit. A partition may cover may separate the accumulator interior from the shaft interior. An internal accumulator force may act on the inner surface of the partition and the liquid within the shaft may exert an external counter force on the outer surface of the partition, whereby a net force acting on the partition is less than the accumulator force.

The LNG may be regasified on the regasification vessel. The regasified natural gas may be discharged with a high pressure arm to a dock and delivered onshore. The regasification vessel may be moored to the dock. The LNG carrier may be moored to the regasification vessel or the dock.

The reinforcing member is fixed to inner sides of the first and second corrugated portions by the impact-absorbing plate.

摘要: A sealed and thermally insulating tank intended for the storage of a fluid, the tank having a secondary insulating barrier having juxtaposed insulating panels; and a primary insulating barrier having insulating panels that are each arranged straddling at least four secondary insulating panels and anchored to the latter. The sealed tank is equipped with a through-element passing through a specific zone of the wall. In the specific zone of the wall, the longitudinal directions of the primary panels are perpendicular to the longitudinal directions of the secondary insulating panels. The through-element passes successively through an opening made in one of the secondary insulating panels and an opening made in one of the primary insulating panels.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to a method and system for detecting activation of a pressure relief device connected to a storage tank containing a pressurized gas. The method includes calculating a pressure relief device release rate based on a set of inputs, wherein the set of inputs includes at least one of a storage tank volume, a pressure relief set point, an orifice size of the pressure relief device, a gas density, and a reseat point for the pressure relief device. The method further includes monitoring the pressure within the storage tank and calculating a differential pressure reading over time, comparing the differential pressure reading over time to the pressure relief device release rate, and detecting a pressure relief device activation based on the comparison result.
