Abstract: Disclosed are a proximity sensor, a method for sensing proximity of a wireless device to a body part of a user, and a wireless device. The proximity sensor includes an antenna electrode and detecting circuitry. The antenna electrode serves as at least a part of an antenna of the wireless device. The detecting circuitry is electrically coupled to the antenna electrode, and is configured to detect an electrical parameter of the antenna electrode and output an operating signal based on the electrical parameter. A distance between the antenna electrode and a body part of a user is determined based on the operating signal.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for force sensing, and an electronic device. The apparatus includes at least one first sensor, at least one second sensor, and a comparator. The at least one first sensor generates a first signal, the at least one second sensor generates a second signal, and the comparator receives both the first signal and the second signal. The first signal is determined by deformation of a deformable portion and temperature at the deformable portion, and the second signal is determined by the temperature at the deformable portion. The comparator determines whether the deformable portion deforms based on the first signal, the second signal, and the threshold signal, and further generates the third signal which is in the active state in response to the determination being positive. The apparatus can make an accurate response when the deformation of the deformable portion serves as an input operation.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for force sensing, and an electronic device. The apparatus includes a sensor and a filter. The sensor is configured to generate a first signal which is determined based on deformation of at least a part of the sensor and temperature of at least the part of the sensor. The part of the sensor is attached to a deformable portion of the electronic device. The filter is configured to receive the first signal, and remove a change from the first signal to acquire a second signal, where the change is due to the temperature of the part of the sensor. In comparison with the first signal, the second signal is less sensitive to the temperature, and therefore can indicate the deformation of the deformable portion more accurately. The electronic device can make an accurate response when the deformable portion deforms.
