Abstract:
IN A PROCESS FOR THE THERMAL HYDRODEALKYLATION OF ALKYL AROMATIC COMPOUNDS, WHEREIN POLYPHENYL REACTANTS ARE SUBJECTED TO CONVERSION TO BENZENE IN AN AUXILIARY REACTION ZONE, HYDROGENATION OF THE EFFLUENTS OF THE PRIMARY AND AUXILIARY REACTION ZONES RESULTS IN PROLONGED COKE-FREE OPERATION.
Abstract:
A process-controlling computer wherein an analytical instrument is provided and is used as a standard against which to calibrate the model of the process in the computer. The process is of such a nature that the key output parameter cannot be measured until some length of time after the value of that parameter is internally determined in the process.
Abstract:
A method of and apparatus for monitoring a complex chemical process comprising the use of a detailed model and intermediate steps to generate a simplified monitoring model for use with the process which will anticipate process responses.
